Stipend For Post Graduates

Respected Sir, I am a postgradute at madras medical college doing my Higher speciality. Sir, since the day i saw you about 20 years ago, (when i was in 4th std) wearing a rain coat and stood among the flood waters close to our home at Nandanam, you remain my favorite leader. So with lots of hope I am writing you this plea. Sir i humbly request you to kindly go through the pay structures of postgradute students doing various courses at government hospitals all over Tamil Nadu. With the rising inflations it is really sad and painfull to have such a low pay, when our counter parts in Kerala and in other states are paid better. Sir, on behalf of thousands of non service post graduate students at various government hospitals all over Tamil Nadu, I plead you to kindly go through our pay structures and bring relief to us. Sir, i submit my prayer to you with lots of hope.

Suggestions.

Hello Sir, This is Vasanth, a software engineer from chennai. I want to throw a suggestion about the roads being laid in and around Chennai. Every year OR at least once in two years, all roads are re-laid within chennai city limit. Some roads are laid twice in a year when we experience heavy rain during that monsoon. We spend a lot of money by continuously laying every time for the same road. This is done all over Chennai. This results in spending a certain amount of money every year continuously which adds up to very huge amount if we summarize it for say 5 years. Why don�t we start laying cement roads, Cement roads are costly and it wouldn�t fit the budget. But, we can start this from one part of Chennai and target a certain area/zone per year. Since cement roads lasts much longer than the tar road the life would be very long, so the following year we can move to the next part of Chennai. By this may be within some years we would have all cement roads within Chennai. We have TAR roads all over Chennai but TAR doesn�t allow water to pass through it during rain, but cement allows water to pass through it which in turn will increase the ground water level also. This will help in attaining a GREEN CHENNAI. I really don�t know the administrative / monetary / practical difficulties involved in the above suggestion, but if this can be done with little bit of effort then it would be a diamond in the crown for you sir. Improve the Rural Infrastructure

Hello Sir This is Ganesh software techie from Veethampatti(Coimbatore Dist) presently resides in Bangalore.I would like to bring to you of suggesting a way for the upliftment of the Rural Tamilnadu and strongly believe unless the rural tamilnadu gets uplifted its difficult for us to make a Tamilnadu a stronger state.Eventhough Government is alloting of funds for panchayts the true fact is it is not utilized properly in the village panchyats.For that to happen all the village panchayat needs to be monitered properly throgh various sources. 1)Everyfortnight there should be meeting held by panchayats presidents and minutes should be send to collector thru proper hierarachy. 2)Once in a two months collector needs to have a meeting with all the panchayat presidents regarding the work done by them in those period.Collector needs to take care of the proper fund utilization and responsibilty should be taken collector to make Every president needs to aware of shemes like PURA,MICROLENDING etc 3)Every six months once Minister need to have a meeting with the collectors with referecnce to the rural upliftment alone as the prioririty. 4)Every year Chief minister should head meeting of all collectors with all the presidents and have a scheme for the next year.In that meeting the presidents who marvelled in that year needs to appalauded and make those presidents train others. I believe if these steps are implemented under your guidence there is a strong possibility that we become a modern state in another 5 years. Thanks Ganesh

But, last week when I saw the news that You, and Alagiri sir and Dayanithi sir are going to work together, I was so happy. I hope all the true tamilians would be happy, if this will happen. Atlast, some senior partymen understood about the outcome of such development and started taking right initiative. That will be good for the party if you all join together. I will till that there is nothing wrong on your part. It is a fact that you have worked for the party, for the good sake of the party only. Dear Sir Yesterday my sister in law while returning from office & walking through Natesa nagar 3rd Main Road, Virugambakkam around 9.30 pm theif came by TVS 50 (Number Plate Blank) snached her Gold Thaali Chain and Cell Phone with knife point. We have registered complaint with Virugambakkam Police Station. Our area now a days very prone to culprit after 8.00 pm and Women very difficult to move around after that time. A great supporter of D.M.K and its rule.Sir , i heard that you are coming to cuddlaore on this 23 rd.Please take a watch on Cuddalore town .A s a native of this town , i feel too sad on the living condition of the town.No good roads, not well maintained street lights, beach is not maintained well, the parks are not good, the town is not clean, water problem is there.No developmental activities are happening in here.I am really jealous to see how our our capital city is developing under your guidance and governance.Cuddalore , a very old district of tamilnadu lacks in development . Chennai's Airport Expansion / New Greenfield Airport

Manbumigu Thalapathi Avargalukku Vanakkam. sir, I read news items today which say that New Delhi IGI airport is testing its 3rd run way which is of about 4343 Metres legth and considered to be one of the lengthiest runways in Asia! Also, last week union cabinet has cleared the Chennai Airport modernisation and expansion project with 26 months as target complition date. I know DMK, our Thalaivar and you have have been trying and pushing hard to get this project cleared by union govt. Though we have succeeded to get the rightly deserved project cleared, I wonder shouldn't we be asking the Union to expand the project with maximum run way length (I think the current plan is to have around 2500M to 3000M legth compared to New Delghi IGI's 4500M!!!) ? Also, given the fact the land acquisitions have also been roadblocks to these projects, I was thinking maybe it is better to go one shot to get maximum land acquired and the project implemented in one short for better length of runway to handle bigger flights. Sir, as of today, the biggest aircraft desgined and likely to be the biggest for next few decades is Airbus A380. If we can plan our airport runway to handle Airbus A380 - that would at least ensure that we are competitive in Air transportation vis-a-vis Delhi and Mumbai. Also, sir, the Chennai Aiport expansion targets around 50 flights per hour handling capacity when completed. However, New Delhi is poised to handle 75 flights per hour with 3 run ways effective very soon! Sir, a couple of days back, our hounable thalaivar has mentioned in the Usman Road Fly over opening ceremony, that we should plan and strive for improving Chennai city at par with Delhi and Mumbai. Given this, It becomes imparative that we plan on par or ahead of New Delhi's IGI airport. At the same time, I am not sure whether our govt is still persuing the green field airport on the outskirts of Chennai? If that is proposal is still there and it is likely to be announced soon, maybe it is worth to plan it to have great length on runways comparable to best airports in Asia like Singapore, HongKong or Tokyo (even Beijing seems to be one of best in Asia). Either ways, Sir, It is very imperative that we demonstrate once again to the people of the state that we the DMK party is always thinking and planning ahead for future of the state. Sir, I am sure the officials in our govt would know more data on these issues and I request you to consider these points and try for either a better expansion of Chennai Airport OR a soon to be implemented world class green field airport. We have registered the complaint with Virigambakkam Police Station for the same. The culprit came by TVS 50 & threatened in knife point & finally snatched her thaali chain & Cell phone. sports infrastructure

Happy to see a politcian getting suggestions from people.we have bagged 2 medals in olympics despite of lack of infrastructure.I want tamil nadu to become first in sports infrastructure for boxing,shooting,swimming,tennis,wrestling hockey,football,athletics,baseball,badminton etc.If u achieve this sir we can expect more medals in next olympics from india especially from tamil nadu .It makes world to look into tamil nadu .I hope u will consider this .

Suggestion

Dear Brother, It is really good to get in direct touch base with you through this superb media. There are so many A/C buses running across our chennai city. But most of the buses go empty and I hear back from the conductors that they don't get good collection. My suggestion here is if all such buses are extended to the software cities say for eg. D70 goes from Ambatur Estate to Velachery. This can be extended upto Tidel park. This way all the IT people can make use of this A/C bus and obiviously the collection will raise up thus producing profit the our transportation. Please do the needful. I really admired the way you were bringing the city up when you were Mayor of corporation. Keep up the good work brother. May God bless you and your family with regards Edwin

General Opinion

Vanakam. Respected Mr.Stalin, Me and and my family are the DMK supports for last two generations. I am very much admired about our honourable chief minister Mr.Karunanithi's adminstration.But now a days I am very much disappointed about the Electricity and rental in Tamilnadu. Where it is going? most of the times there is no power and the house rents already in mountain high. Petrol price hike, high inflation beside this adverse these are hits the common man badly. As a DMK well wisher this not a suituation for our party. I would like to write regularly. So I stopped now. I will continue this on regular basis. Thanks

Sir, At the outset let me convey happiness on your spedy clearance of files of your department. Sir, being the minister for Rural administration you have not yet vissited the AREA called as PUZHUDIVAKKAM, in your entire career since 2000. I request you to pls come to the area to just look at the scenario of the situation. We need your not focus just a GLIMPSE. You will be enlightened on the pathetic scenario prevailing just your next door. Also I like to bring to your attention where you can give instructions to Mr.MRK PANERSELVAM,Health Minster,where the KMC hospital which is the only hospital in Chennai for the poor and needy patients of Chennai for the past 40 years is highly infectious and the stench of toilet is unbearable as the toilet welcomes the Entire Tamilnadu. Also to bring to your noptice that a person like MRK pannerselvam takes X ray in the hospital only half body will be radiographed,where the size of xray film is small and it is difficult for the doctors of the hospital to diagnose it.Plese intervene and pass on the info to MRK. Also the GREAT KMC has just 2 special wards which is in dilapidated condition and not functional. Reasons given for non functionality is the pathtic functioning of PWD in the Hospital. Sir, No manpower and shortage of staff in the hospital. Also a request which you will be grateful if you do this small value addition in the hospital by providing the Airconditioning facilty in the BURN ACCIDENt Ward.Pls if u feel the situation of burn victim.PLS do something to HOSPITAL/s in TN. One more value addition sir,pls ditribute the television sets to all hospitals of tamilnadu ,which will be apeanut additiopn in your entire distributin to TN. There are many problems prevailing in the primary school education since independence in each and every five years plan the important tasks is to achieve cent percent literacy the real facts are standing erect against the tasks. This is sad and suffering state of primary education in our country where parents have aspiration to educate their children to make them the better citizens but in disillusionments distress The mater factors responsible for the situation of government primary school in providing the basic infrastructure at the primary school run under them-building, class rooms equipments, basic facilities of toilets and drinking water and at the top of all-lack of teachers in the primary schools that is leading this generation to put the end mark for the government primary schools. Now came the new problem which adds the list the appointment of secondary grade teachers by the district seniority is in practice from 1950. But there is confusion prevailing in last few years. The government is gone for the high appeal to the supreme court against the judgment given in favor of state seniority by Madurai High Court. The appointment by district of secondary grade teachers by district seniority wise Secondary grade teachers are being sent to collect the information and data for the censes purposes. The secondary-grade teachers are doing their special election duties in the election booths. They are also want to canvas their own union people to get the admission for their children secondary grade teachers want to given awarness to their union people to get admission their child at the right time. The also involving in canvassing the drop out students to rejoin the school studies For all this purpose secondary grade teachers appointment must be in district seniority wise. So that they can communicate the local people very easily. They Can do their work effectively in their native district. They election duties, census purpose and many other government duties can be done effectively. Secondary grade teachers appointment is systematic and lead very effective administrative when it is district seniority. If it is made state seniority wise about one lakhs and fifty thousand secondary grades trained teacher of 27 district are getting affected when it is given state seniority wise. All of them are direct and indirect supporters of our government. The state seniority is only favour for three districts(kanyakumari,tutucorin, Thirunelvelly) These three districts only seeking the district seniority wise. They are arguing that they wont get jobs from 1987. We can list out many reasons very clearly for this situation in that district. There are many private teacher training intuition are running in that district since 1980. So the people in those districts got many opportunities to study teachers training. The numbers of trained candidates are very high compared to the other 27 districts. There are many aided schools equal to that of government schools in that districts. Real fact is that many of the trained candidates get appointed in that aided schools. Even the candidates finished recently got their appointment in the aided schools are also the government employees. The should withdraw their number from employment office. But they illegally keep their employment number in renewal. Many of the candidates are registering them in other districts. Have easy employments opportunity this migration have the very long history and affecting the job opportunities native district people. Apart from this when there is call for appointment of the secondary grade teachers. The teachers who are working in other districts transfer them to their own nature districts by district transfer for the teachers. The working teachers in aided schools left their job and they are get appointment in the government schools. By all this it is clear that the candidates of the same districts are affecting the job opportunity of same district. These all the reason which affect the job opportunity in the particular three districts. Secondary grade teachers appointment is in state seniority wise about one lakh fity thousand candidates of 27 districts life will be affected ruined. Their families will be affected terrible. The district seniority is most important for the government and for these government supporter candidates. Now the case is going on in supreme court so please pay your special attesion to get judgment in favour of district seniority secondary grade trained teachers life is given your hand please protect it. Note: Besides all this problem we are hearing that some officers(education),government lawyers who are involving this case are acting against the district seniority indirectly. I hope you to some remedies for this case hearing on September 3rd week-2008. Devolopement of Park

Dear Honourable minister Sir, Vanakkam , Iam the president of Dr.Ramamurthinagar Welfare asociation.madipakkam chennai which is coming under Madipakkam first grade panchayat union .We dont have facility for elderly person to have morning walk and children to play in the evening . Even though we have park area and it is yet to be devoloped. We have taken initiative and collected donation from the public have constructed 15 sitting place ,unchal and sarukku maram for the children to play .After this many elderly person and children are coming to this park .Hence I request the honourable minister to help us to devolope the park with facilities like , walking platform for the people, compount wall , water and electricty facilities and oblige thanking you Sir , Yours sincerely S.Govindan
