regarding bus facility

Dear Sir,i am from KATHIRAMANGALAM,a village in thiruvidaimaruthur taluk.our village is 15kms apart from mayiladuthurai,but we hav no govt. bus services from mayiladuthurai.And also in our village,we dont have bus services for hours together in afternoon and morning.since the private buses r running in our route,they r stopping the service if they dont have enough passengers.i am pleasing you to do neccesary arrangements........thank you sir

Road condition of our street

Dear Sir, we are happy to reach you through this web site. As per the above subject, we belong to Pallavaram municipality. In our area in Ganesh nagar, drainage works were started 2 years back, they have completed 70% of the drainage work a year back and balance works are pending for the past one year. In the affected areas the road condition is very bad, peoples are finding it very difficult to use the roads and during rainy season it becomes much more worse and literally unusable. Kindly ask your office to give instruction to respective municipal authorities for speedy completion of the under ground drainage work and the subsequent road work. Thanks in advance

sir, the town bus no 1 plying between Karur and P.Velur is overcrowded due to the existence of many schools in between.many thousand students are using the buses with no 1 route daily. so, we request you to take steps to provide additional buses in the said route and help the students. Dear Sir, Housing Board Flats sales @ Mugappair ERI Scheme started selling appliacation forms.It's cost Rs.110/-.and They are charging Rs.400/- as a Reg.Fee.(No Refunds). But Now the application sold Approx. above 100000(one lakh). So it's high burden for the public. If u giving announcement of stop of application and refunding the extra money holding by them,it will great help of public.Because only 170 flats came for sale. They provided for public only,38for outright purchase and 25 for hire purchase. Please do the needful and save the public money.. With Hope Muthukumaran. Please Note : if not possible refunding whole amount Rs.400/- ,please arrange the refund of Rs.300/- And please stop application sale.

respected sir, i am great admirer of Thiru.M.Karunanidhi and your enthusiastic service to the party. i am resident of Mylapore. pl. consider the problem of pedestrians, who are literally threatened of accident while walking, as there is no pavement. the concept of platform is becoming a forgotten story. another problem is the raised and highly inclined platforms before some of the houses. who gave permission to these residents to raise the platform which is meant for the public. some of the selfish residents raise the platform in front of their house, to facilitate the movement of their car and avoid the water logging before their house. but they forgot that public, especially middle aged and old people cannot walk on these highly inclined platforms. Sir, i recall here your great efforts to beautify the 4 mada veedhis around kapaleeswarar temple. we were very much moved by your concern, inspite of your party principles. one cannot deny that this great act secured votes for your party from unexpected sections also. I am fully aware of this and i am happy to bring this to your notice. but unfortunately the encroachment spoils the beauty and the emptied place is occupied for parking and display space for the shopkeepers. your noble task is becoming meaningless. hope you will appreciate these problems of the public and do the needful. with regards, k.karthikeyan

Bus fares on weekends

Dear sir, In the week ends the govt buses are operated at a higher cost ( 10% more than the regular fare) The public are getting dissatisfatied and they have no other go than to accept it.But this will have an effect in elections. Please look into it and do the needful

Want of Basic infrastructure

Dear Mr Stalin, One of the fast developing residential area close to the boundry of chennai is Nolambur, chennai 95. Place inbetween West Mogappair and Madhuravayal. There are 2000 houses are under constrcution and already 1000 new families got migrated in to this location. We have NO ROADS, BUS FACILITY, WATER AND DRAINAGE CONNECTIONS, BSNL land lines telephone connections. Request government to encourage publics, migrating in to outscurt of chennai and please please provide us the basic living infrastructures. We and our childrens face huge hurdles every day to go to schol , office ang elders problems are beyond the level to explain. We seek your personnel intervention to look in to our basic living requirements. Hopeing the best. Thanks. Raghavan

Traffic rules

Currently the traffic rules are not being enforced strictly. people need to obey the rules and over take only when the vehicle in front gives the signal,there are overtaking from left which needs to be penalised,Bumper to Bumper drive must be avoided and people should be penalised for not leaving enough space between the vehicles. I feel that the traffic police need to be strict in enforcing the rules which can result in better traffic management in chennai

Mini bus without use

Dear Thalapathi,Our cm's beautiful scheme minibus is very useful in tamilnadu except Pudukkottai town because of few bus operators,who made the minibuses not to go inside the busstand ,which is very big.Pl take necessary action to activate the buses from main busstand even from the opening ceremony of new RTO Office,which is to be held on nearer days. This message is not from a single person and from all the passengers who are travelling.Pl take necessary actions.

Dear Sir. Advancing ahead of bangalore, chennai is one of the fastest growing cities of south east asia. Travelling needs and requirements of all class of people have also enlarged.In this proposition, Please find and probe out the possibility of providing a multi-modal transit master plan to link various parts of greater chennai with Sriperumbudhur,sipcot,rajiv memorial,Sungkuvar chatram where the proposed greenfield civil airport complex is being constructed.The complex will be ready for opening to public in about 4 years time.before that, there shall be dedicated corridor to and from the new green field airport complex to greater chennai .parallelly, kindly arrange to lobby with the ministry of indian railways and the members of UPA to prioritise a much needed rail line network from branching out from the existing villivakkam or avadi suburban stations plus another line from St.thomas mount to sriperumbudhur/sungkuvar chatram side.many students, workers and passengers will benefit from this multimodal tranit corridor master plan and the proposed new railway line link.The rail line link would help many industries to utilise the rail line to export and the local material movement.You may please take steps to realise the dreams above into reality if we are really concerned about greater chennai's future growth.

Traffic & parking in public places

Sir, I would like to bring to your attention, people parking thier vehicles on busy roads. This causes most of the traffic jam in the city. Especially Autos parking their vehicles by signals or crossroads. Classic examples, Autos parking near the LB road signal at thiruvanmiyur near Jayanthi theatre, the signal opposite thiruvanmiyur RTO on ECR. A little guidance to traffic police to move these vehicles at bottle neck areas like LB road would be helpful to the greater public. Jeff
