Why is it that no suggestions are being posted after Aug/08? Is it because some of them are not flattering to the govt?

SriLankan Tamils

Dear sir, I read a couple of articles in Nakkeeran dated 19 August 2009. In the first article it talks abotu a Srilankan student who could not get her Engineering admission as she is a Srilankan citizen. That happens to be the Govt. guideline for counselling.Nakkeeran after meeting the Vice Chancellor of Anna University, has written that Govt. should consider admission of Srilankans as we do for other Indian students.This is outrageous. The rule for admission is for all foreign students alike & we can not make a separate rule for Srilankan tamils.The way Nakkeeran foes on suggesting things it seems they want to give equal status to Srilankan tamils in India as we citizens.The right for such admissions are only for we citizens of India.Recently in another article, the Srilankan tamils had lambasted about their inability to get registered in the Bar Council after graduating in Law. Such registration is only for Indian citizens.They had also asked for reservation in Govt. Jobs. This too is audacious.Such reservations for jobs is only to Citizens of India.Some Political people along with Nakkeeran have suggested that such reservations should be given. This is totally ridiculous as these are jobs meant for we Indians and the cost is met by the tax payers. Again in this 19 August 2009 issue there is one more article i which they have lambasted about the people from Bihar, Orissa and other states working in Chennai as manual labourers.He says jobs in Tamil nadu should be only for people of Tamil Nadu.On the other hand he is advocating jobs for Srlankans.This shows their double standards.Indian citizens working any where in India is acceptable.But they cannot say the same for Srilankans.They are foreigners. The way they are suggesting things for Srilankans it seems they want Srilankan tamils to be equal to we the citizens. This has a danger of those people becoming dominant here. Hence, you should take steps to nip this problem in the bud itself.Your present Govt. is capable of handling it effectively. I am sure you will look ino this immediately. Independence day

Sir, Today I read in a news paper that Periyar DK party people hoisted Black flags in their homes on Independence day. This is a very serious affair. Our ancestors fought tooth & nail to get our Independence. We have gone for more than 6 decades now. The day is celeberated with lot of geity by every one in this great nation.Our esteemed Chief Minister & your Father Kalaignar ji hoisted the Tri Colot yesterday.At such a time these people hoisted black flags to show their solidarity with Sri Lankan Tamils.I think they have forgotten that they are the citizens of India.Some times back, they had the audacity to attack an Army convoy.If they are so attached to Srilankan tamils then let them go & fight there.They can not fight a proxy war in our state. You are the Deputy Chief Minister now and in a position to take certain hard decisions.It is high time these people are tamed or they may become too dangerous like swine flu.Sentiments are one thign & national interest is some thing else. 10 years of struggle -- Compassionate ground

Respected and beloved Thalapathi, Thank you for giving us a platform like this to interact with you. Sir, my father dies during his service in Postal Dept in the year 2000 and i applied for a job under compassionate ground. But it is almost ten years now, that i didnt get a a job after so many tries. I have completed by B.Sc degree with a gold medal and also an MBA degree through distance education. Sir, i have an insulin-dependant mother and an unmarried sister to look after. It is very difficult for us to continue our days without a job. The only source of income is my father's pension which is around Rs 3000/- permonth. Respected Sir, I am residing in the above-mentioned address. There is very frequent power failure,voltage fluctuation, etc in our area. We have complained many times, EB personnel told that to change the cable for this particular street, but they are not changing it, saying that cable is not available and we will change it once cable wire comes. traffic police

hi sir i am fan of stalin sir personally, i dont know politics but he has done great job in the past and amazing job now for chennai, chennai people. my small concern about traffic police, i was travelling with my friend in pulsar bike, he was not wearing helmet, we were caught by police they asked us fine of 150rs, as per the rule 100rs for helmet, but they asked 150rs, we said as per the rule its 100rs, they started shouting at us, then we paid the fine, they didnt give bill for that, we asked again they said, if you want bill pay a fine of 1100 for harsh driving, mobile usage while driving, actually we both didnt use mobile, we started arguing, they are about to slap us, we left after paying the fine, it happened below the gemini fly over 8 days back. Again in the same day when we come from t nagar, we were caught by police again they asked 100rs, we explained the whole thing, they are not interested to listen, they started shouting, again we paid 100rs without bill, when we reached gemini again in the another lane, again we were caught i said we paid twice on the same day, he said oh then you give just 50rs, we were shocked how these policemen are working. sir honestly telling, they are spoiling the name of our pure government. our police is the best police even bettter than scotland police i know, but few traffic police spoiling the name. they are really giving unnecessary trouble to people. i heard one guy was shouting at policemen for paying this fine, please do the needful thing.

Lecturer Recruitment

Dear Dr.M.K.Stalin, I am working as a Research Professor in USA. After completing my Ph.D i have been here for last 5 years. I would like serve as a lecturer in tamil nadu goverment arts and science college. Last 3 years tamil nadu goverment recruited around 5000 lecturers by TRB. I also applied. But in recruitment process they asked me to come to india for two times. One for certificate verfication another one for Interview. From USA i was unable to two trip. Like me lot tamil people working in abroad with Ph.D degree those wants to come back to tamil nadu and ready to work in govermnet colleges. Kindly make changes in the recruitment process for people living in abroad. They can arrange video confrence for conducting interview like IITs, NITs and some other universities. otherwise we can come to interview during the time they can verify our certificate also. OR please allow any authorised person (family member of applicant) duirng certificate verfication. Becuase two times coming to India from USA within 3 months is very difficult for us. Tamil religion

Dear sir, I am muthuraja , I am a master in Engineering. I want to take a very important and most required matter to your views. Nowdays more no of peoples prefferd private school and some of our children( like me) are going to goverment school. So students from private school are learning tamil,english and hindi. so they can survey every where in india. In tamil nadu some of the company heads are come from north. so, they want to intreact with subordinates by hindi. But the students from goverment school not able to survive with out hindi.Yes , we can learn after completing degree. but it seems to be very difficult to learn a language from some institution. and also some people may tell , people going to miltry are learn hindi quickly.yes thats correct. but have ever going by the train with most of hindi speaking communities ... all are racking our tamilians... all are firing us by very worst and bad words.... please sir, i am requesting ... please introduce hindi in government schools after 5 th standard atleast.... Even our people not able to do bussiness with north people .. they are simply comming and doing the bussiness... sir, please make a survey all college students ... whether the education system is required hindi or not.. every one says yes... Spread of Swine Flu reg:-

Sir, This is a request to the TN Govt. from a mother of 5 yr old boy. I humbly request the govt. to take immediate action to prevent the spread of Swin Flu. School Going children, in the Nursery and Primary Schools (upto Class 5), MAY BE CLOSED, in order to prevent the spread between children who are most susceptible to this air borne epidemic. Sir, our children are the cause and the purpose of our lives. Pls care for them . From a loving Mother !!!

delay in construction work

Sir, It is informed you that venkatrayanstreet street (park town ) was broken by the your Deptt for the purpose of reconstruction of the same but even after a month, the street has nither re-constructed nor repaired till date. The condition of the street in front of ours houses becomes worst and we are not even able to move properly in the street. Even no vehicle can enter in the street. Despite giving many complaints to the chennai corporation no action has been taken by them You are requested to kindly look into the matter and do the needful under intimation to me at an early. Sir, My name is Ramraj residing in Gandhi nagar Redhills, Chennai. Sir we(25000+ families)are residing in this area. But we dont have Patta for this.The issue is people in this area are relly frustrated because of this. Previous ADMK government failed to do this. Atleast if our government do this then this area would become a BIG ADVANTAGE for DMK. Jones Road subway in saidapet

Dear Sir, Please let the people of saidapet knew when the jones road subway would be completed. People in the adjacent residential localities are facing huge inconvenience because of the delay in the subway completion. the unauthorised autorickshaw menace in this locality is compounding the problem. these autorickshaws in saidapet are tinkering with their silencers and causing huge noice and air pollution in saidapet residential localities. The pollution control or traffic police are not taking any action against them. I sincerely request u to Please take steps to open the saidapet jones road subway as soon as possible.
