Respected sir, We all are living here in Arulmigu Mal Palaniandavar Kovil Land for more than 30 years. Now recently the Government has increased the land rent very highly and the Government is telling us to pay about Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 from 1998 to 2008. We are paying Rs.40 as the monthly rent, which also has been increased to Rs. 400 TO 500. The land which we are living is about only 700 to 1000 Sq.ft. We are also spending for Kovil festival and improvement, then we are also paying corporation tax, water and sewerage tax. We all are middle class family only and so it will be very hard for us to pay such a huge amount. The Government gives Patta for those all peoples, who lives in an unauthorized land (poramboku land) for more than five years. As in the Chennai more than 60% of land are Kovil lands. In the past two years Government had made many schemes to improve the infrastructures and also given the 2 acre. land for those people, who are not having any land throughout Tamil Nadu so please we all are requesting to gives us patta to our land, which will be very beneficial and we all will be very happy for that and will never to forget the Government. Sir, It is heartening to note your efforts for reaching the common man through this web site. Thank you. I used to work in one of the IT companies in the Rajiv Gandhi highway uptil last year. I moved over to Noida a couple of months back. When I compared the status of Noida ten years back and now, it is amazing. The amount of development that has gone into it and the allround growth it has brought to the common man, is really to be seen to believe it. I have a suugestion to make: plan to instal a metro through the IT high way upto Mahabalipuram. This can run right in the middle of the IT highway that is under construction for almost ten years now. It will save travel cost and give a boost to the indutstries in that area apart from adding to the revenue of tourism. In the same time that it takes to build a road (with legal hassles delaying the process further) we can have a world class metro, that can be extended to other parts of the city later. I feel that we need to plan keeping in mind the estimated growth for the next fifty years. The state will remember you forever, if you take a successful initiative in this area. Best Regards.

sir we are facing a miserable situation because of kodangayur dumping station..the waste materials present there are fired frequently..so the resulting smoke spreads upto 5km around north chennai including my area.. this has resulted in many health hazards like cancer , TB,ASTHMA,lung cancer etc..so i beg u to take immediate action in shifting this dumbyard somewhere outside the city...thank u..thalapathi vaalka...

I read news about stray dogs menace in streets on and off. Is it not Govt responsibility to keep the roads safe for our kids going to schools? When did animal welfare become higher than human welfare? How come I dont see any action from Govt to stop this? I do like animals - if there are no animal shelters/people to take care of them, the dogs get killed even in foreign countries. Only when some important politican or govt official kids get injured, then only this will get Govt will wakeup?? Its a shame to see dogs menace news again and again in media. Shame on the so called people's Govt. If you or someone can take care of this issue, I am sure every parent will support it and you will gain the respect of them.

Thiru Stalin avarkaluku Vanakam, You may heartabout "Natutal agriculture".Why should not we implement it in our state. Natural Scientist "Nammalvar" is doing lot of things. Our government can consult with him and can do some good things. U may read "Pasumai Vikatan".They are doing some good job.Government can ask them plan of implementation. Aprat from this, Irrigatio and forestation are main areas. In maharastra , one old man did some good things in irrigation.He used to maintain the local water soruces properly . We can concentrate on this... For forestation, Government already encourages people like "Jaggi Vasudev". But the count could be increased. I expect some good reply or action from you...I know that implementation should have lot of barriers.. But our Dravidian movement itseld made barriers as steps... I expect same .

Honorable Minister Thiru Stalin, Sir, I'm writing to you to request your support and action on the request to make Tamil as the medium of instruction in all schools of Tamil Nadu. I'm sure you are aware of the artificial discrimination among the students created by different boards (state, Matric, CBSE, ICSE and anglo indian) and the fast disapperance of Tamil medium schools from the private sector. The craze for English is jeopardizing the future of Tamils. People don't seem to realize that most advanced countries of the world like the European Countries, Japan, China and US educate their children in their native tongue. Unfortunately a false stigma has been created that people should educate themselves in English medium and not Tamil. Ofcourse we can learn English as a language. People should also realize that putting all our eggs in the English basket could leave as helpless as the Latin American countries which lost their culture and languages to adopt Spanish and yet have not gained anything today. I'm sure you are already abreast of all these issues. It'll be a great achievement and a fitting iniation into the order of Periyar, Anna and Kalaignar if you can bring this Tamil dream alive.
