I am staying in Coimbatore Ganapathy area which is a residential cum industrial area. Since last week they have started stopping power supply from morning 6 to 9 am which causes too much hardships to the residents as they cannot do any work whether they are parents of childrens or office goers as only during this time they will get ready for leaving their house. I also understand the power shortage in the State. My suggestion is that they can stop the supply from 7 am to 10 am so that people will have atleast one hour for their preparations. This may be considered and necessary steps may be taken for restructuring the stoppage of power supply as proposed by me which is the common opinion of the residents of my area. Respected sir, I wish to bring to the kind notice of the Government, the following details to take necessary action. The SDAT is a Govt. agency registered under the Societies Act. The SDAT has developed two synthetic tennis Courts on huge investment at Mogappair. During Oct 2005 a NRI Thiru. S.Premline Prince from Abu Dhabi has sent a request letter to SDAT to under take the maintenance of above said court (***designated Thiru S,.Amaline John residing at Chennai to carryout work for him and not the Prince Tennis Academy ). Without following any procedures the request of Thiru. S.Premline Prince has been accepted and given an order on 31.10.05 to Thiru A.Amaline John Hony.Secretary Prince Tennis Academy residing at Chennai subject to certain conditions and if agreeable to the conditions he was permitted to enter MoU with the SDAT.(Please refer the Proc.no.14870/NI-2/2005 dt:31.10.05 which is enclosed) Again on 16.11.05 another letter sent by the SDAT officials (Lr No.RcNo.18097/NI-2/2005 dt:16.11.05.) without any proper approval from the Dept. Head stating that a draft MoU has been singed on the date of the first letter itself i.e. on 30.10.05 . Both the above Order and letter are contradictory in all terms. Please compare the above said order and the letter. The Prince Tennis Academy took possession of the above said tennis courts based only on above letter without any MoU and with the help of SDAT officials (Thiru S.Premline Prince has not mentioned the Prince Tennis academy in his letter rather designated only Thiru S.Amaline John). The Agreement copy signed only by the Prince tennis Academy has been submitted during Nov 2005. However the Executive Committee of SDAT has not approved and ratified the action of SDAT in entering into a MoU with Prince tennis Academy for the maintenance of the synthetic courts at its meeting held during Jan.2006. No such MoU has been signed between the SDAT & Prince tennis Academy and no EC approval has been granted to enter any MoU till date. Further The Prince tennis academy has constructed an unapproved building in stage I which has no design approval of the SDAT Engineers which is also violation of the conditions imposed as per order dt:31.10.05. The Prince Tennis Academy which is maintaining the Tennis courts without any legal validity and only with the help of SDAT officials. There is no proper maintenance of accounts and no follow up on the functioning of the Tennis Courts by the said academy. No auditing has been done by SDAT on collection of the amount from the public property. It was decided in the EC meeting held on 12.04.07 approved and permitted SDAT to invite “ Expression of Interest” to use sports facility owned by SDAT, obviously because of the anomalies as stated above. And also I am to bring your kind notice that various petitions are being filed and pending before SDAT on RTI Act 2005 and the details furnished by the SDAT in so for is contradictory and not proper to the best interest of the public. There is also suppression of facts to the EC Members and ultimately which reflects decision making based on the facts furnished by the officials. Hence I request that necessary action may be taken to find out facts and initiate action against the erring officials.

Frequently I have been reading in the newspaper that Our Honorable Minister, Thiru M.K. Stalin given Time Scale of pay and Service Regularization to daily wages Workers and Consolidated Workers and other workers. We were very much happy to hear about the news and we appreciate that our Honorable Minister’s services extended to them and public. Tamilnadu Medical Services Corporation (TNMSC) established on 1994 and functioning very well compare to other state. TNMSC appointed 23 Data Entry Operators on merit basis through Govt. Employment Exchange for TNMSC, District Drug Warehouses throughout the state on July 12th, 1995. The same day of appointment our Employment Exchange Registration number has been cancelled. Time scale was given in the slab of 1200-30-1500-40-2400 to us on October 1996. We have received one month salary on above scale. Unfortunately Time scale was withdrawn within a month. We have been suffering financially and mentally during the past 13 years because of meager salary. I kindly submit my prayer to our Honorable Minister Thiru M.K.Stalin to sanction Time scale of pay and service regularization. Sir, We are sending this letter on behalf of the residents of Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Shakthi Nagar areas of Adambakkam, near Balaji Nagar Park and DAV School. Sir, One of your party cadres by name Sadasivam (His Mobile No. is 9444927746) has blocked the way that was used by the residents for over two and a half decades and has constructed a house on the adjoining of two streets one year ago on the pretext that it is his land. Everybody in our area knows that he is not the owner of that piece of land. Actually that piece of land belongs to the local body viz Alandur Municipality . Owing to the representations made to Mr T.M. Anbarasan, Honourable Minister for Labour which he forwarded to the Commissioner of Alandur Municipality, it is understood that the Commissioner has also issued demolition notice to that encroacher. But the same has not been executed by both the encroacher as well as the Municipality. In the meantime, he has got electricity connection by influencing the TNEB officials. Recently he has dug bore well next to his so called “house”. He is leaving all the wastages from his house in a choke pit, thereby causing nuisance to nearby houses. The Municipality has switched over to underground drainage system three years ago and insists all the residents to connect their sewage line to UG drainage. But in his case, the Municipality has closed its eyes as he belongs to your party. A letter sent to the Commissioner, Alandur Municipality who is also the designated Information Officer, seeking information under the Right to Information Act in March 2008 by one of our residents about the course of action taken against this person is still unanswered though six months have elapsed. It is a common factor that the party cadres of any ruling party, indulge in the practice of grabbing private land as well as poromboke lands. But you are best aware that, how such activities of the party cadres affect the reputation of the party. On the circumstances cited above we request you to look into the matter as all the efforts taken by us so far with the Alandur Municipality has proved vain. We could approach media who are ready with their camera and mikes to disseminate such sensational news to public by staging a demonstration in front of his “house”. But we don’t want to resort to such cheap publicity as we have full faith in your intervention that would settle this issue amicably.
