I registered in the employment office in Santhome, Chennai, in Jan 2004. My Renewal date was Jan 2007. But at that time, due to ill health conditions, I could not renew my registration on time. After lot of complicated health problems just now I am little bit ok with my health. I can able to survive now. Last Sep 2008 I have gone to the employment office for the renewal of my registration. But couldn’t renewed my certificate, the reason they was, my registration is lapsed and they can't process the renewal. They also informed that I can re-register, in which case I will lose my four years of seniority. I am worried about this. I came to know from the official website of Employment Exchange that you have given special concession for the registrants whose registration had lapsed during the period 1/1/2004 to 31/12/2004 and 1.1.2005 to 31.12.2005 by letter No.27205/N2/2006-1, dated 18/08/2006. I sincerely appreciate your effort that helped thousands of registrants in Tamilnadu. Maduravoyal-Chennai Port elevated expressway is planned to construct on oneside of the coovam river. By doing that, 11000 houses will be demolished and public hardmoney will go ashes. If the bridge is built on the top of the river, it will avoid removal of houses which is on the riverside. Also by building bridge on the top of the river, the rivers borders are protected both side by having pillars on both side. Having river borders fenced it will be easy to clean river by avoiding back water entry and inviting social service organisations for cleaning process. Hence with the Maduravoyal-Chennai Port elevated expressway project cost we can build bridge on the top of the river as well as cleaning the river without andy additional cost

The auto drivers are going to strike for increasing the fares. But this is just a eyewash, not even 1 in 1000 auto drivers use meters. It should be made compulsory to use the meters. Most of the auto drivers are rowdies and refuse to come for ride if we dont accept their rate and abuse us.Also our city traffic is only because of the autos. Hello Sir, This is sathish living in Kolathur Chennai 99. Here i have put 2 major issues. Issue 1: The canal running from Retteri to Beach( thro kolathur, PA Medu, Moolakadai,etc.....) is open and currently there are lot of wastages has been put in to it bcos of it people getting bad diseases and it is highly impossible to open the door after 5 PM in my house ( bcos of Mosquitoes ) there are lot of bad smell from it. Can you take necessary action for this canal and more ever during rainy seasons this canal often overflows and flooding happens in kolathur area. Pls come up with suitable solution to avoid this mosquitoes ( by covering this drain) so that useless wastes will be dropped. Issue #2 Because of TASMAC shops in the junction of kolathur bus stop there are lot of problems in crossing the road( balakumaran nagar junction - Perambur paper mills Rd). All the drunkards park the vehicle in the residential places and drunkards are harrassing the people who cross those area.Pls close that TASMAC shop or relocate to some other place.Expecting a speedy action for these problems. Pls. do the needful.

Dear Sir, We are staying in velacherry, Tansi Nagar, 21st cross street for more than 2 years. It seems like there is a major drainage work happening in velacherry, hence the drainage has been blocked and daily the sewage water started overflowing. We met the corporation team and they stated that it will be fixed in 2 weeks. But now its almost 2 months no steps have been taken. Sewage water has got stagnated and malaria has started spreading in our area. In our family itself about 2 of them are affected with malaria. Next to our building the chettinad play schools has been established, if no preventive measure is taken it may affect the entire childrens in that locality. We complained to the corporation team to spray mosquitoe repellents, but they are not responding properly and not taking any actions. Please help us sir.

I mean even paid lorry service unable to distribute water because of some political pressure to supply water to their end.

But still I have not received any further intimations or orders. My family is now under a critical financial situation to meet out our basic expenses. Sir, Sub: Land acquisition for Chennai airport expansion-Reg We are the land owners in Manapakkam, Kollapakkam, Tharapakkam, Guregambakkam and Kovur village, Tamil nadu where lands are sought to be acquired for Chennai Airport Expansion. We had received notices from Tamil nadu Government for land acquisition under Tamil Nadu acquisition of Land for Industrial purposes act for expansion of Chennai Airport on December 2007. I am listing out the problem we had been facing from May 2007 to till date. 1. On May 22nd 2007 State Government of Tamil Nadu in an all party meeting announces land for Chennai airport Expansion and plans to acquire land in the areas of Manapakkam,Kollapakkam,Tharapakkam,Gerugmabakkam.[Press Release No:283 Date 22-05-2007] 2. Transport Department of Tamil nadu issued G.O MS. No 70 dated 09-July-2007. 3. Transport Department of Tamil nadu issued a new G.O MS. No 108 dated 09-oct-2007. 4. Special Thalisdhar had send notices to each one of us in the mid of December 2007 via the letter dated 05-12-2007 stating that “our land’s are required for Chennai Airport Expansion and ask us to send objection if any”. 5 .Based on the letter we had met Kanchipuram collector many times and submitted our objection letter but had not received any information from him. We are struggling for past 2 years. After that we had not yet received any information from the collector office. 6. We had been put into dark from 22-May-2007 to 09-July-2009. We are in 3rd year without knowing whether our land will be acquired or not. 7. But Kanchipuram district administration had already handed over 126.6 acres of land to AAI for Expansion. 8. Our dream homes are half way from May 2007-Till date. Attached our half constructed house photos for your reference. 9. From the media news and Transport Department policy note for the year 2009-2010, it is clear that State Government is going for Greenfield airport and Dropping parallel runway. So we kindly request you de-notify our land from acquisition and also call us in straight to share our problem with you. We had been paying EMI and PRE-EMI to banks from MAY-2007 to till date without a single drop of Construction. Please sir, call for a meeting.
