Honourable Minister, I am a resident of Devadi Street, Mylapore. There is a large undergrouns water tank in the beginning of the Devadi street, which is no longer in service. It has no compound walls and the place is being misused. I request you to please consider constructing a park/children's play ground in this site. We do not have any children's play ground in this area and this will be very useful to them. Thanks Sir, Murugan.

Respected Sri.Stalinji, I would like give some of the suggestions which are in my mind for long time. Fortunately, I found this website and taking the opportunity to put forth to you for necessary implementation if found useful one. ENERGY SAVING PROPOSALS Presently Tamil Nadu is facing severe Power shortage problems. It is affecting the common man, Industrial sector, Agri sector and every commercial establishment. This is the time for the individuals and Government to initiate power saving activities. Some of the suggestions for power saving activities are, 1. Power saver lights, fans and other power efficient domestic appliances can be sold through our TNEB bill collection counters. The role of TNEB should not stop at giving power supplies to the users, it should also give power savings tips, Energy audits for Industries, Certifying efficient electrical appliances, Selling energy efficient appliances thro’ TNEB collection counters. By this way, end users are educated, using efficient appliances reduces consumption, additional income to TNEB thro’ selling electrical cables, switches, electrical items and appliances thro' their counters. It has millions of customer base and should make use of it. 2.All street lights can be provided with light sensor for switching on / off lights. Early switching on and late switching off can be eliminated by light sensor. Based on the intensity of natural light, it can be switched on / off. 3.Domestic consumer can be classified based on income levels. Different tariffs can be charged based on the income levels. 4.Most of the houses are backed up with Invertor. We can make it compulsory for every medium and higher income house hold. Generally,Peak electricity consumption is in the evening hours. TNEB can fix the timer in these houses to cut-off the power supply for these houses between 6 PM to 8 PM or 9 PM. The requirements can be met thro’ inverter. Post 9 PM or 10 PM, inverter batteries can be recharged during lean hours. Incentives can be offered for these users. 5.Promoting Solar cells in our state. Future every house hold should generate their own power requirements thro’ solar cell panels. Nature has offered this Solar energy for the benefit of livelyhood in the globe. Govt can promote this activity. 6.Transmission losses can be controlled through converting open cables into insulated cables in phased manner. I hope the above suggestions would be fit for implemention. I thank personally for your active involvements in uplifting the state for all round growth. Pray for longlive. Regards C.KUMAR

Honorable and Most Dedicated Minister I would like to suggest on solar energy. Under your able leadership sofar in State Internal affairs, the civic community has improved a lot. Current Government also taken enough efforts to meet the common public need at most with the available resources. But we are suffering one or other day in the electricity energy crisis. Suggesting that if the government would provide solar panels for the minimum use of domestic use with suitable subsidy to the common public , we will get rid off completely from the electricity problem in near future. Also requesting the government may relax the tax for those who are willing to manufacture solar panels encouraging mass solar panel production in our State. Advantages : We will get more employment through solar panel manufacturing industries. No more over head wires and holding posts in the residential areas. Electrocution during rainy season can be avoided. Considerable Energy saving on Consumption for the Common public. National saving on Energy Consumption. Eco Friendly Environment Regards

Thiru Stalin, Indeed this should be high priority now, given the circumstances and developments, I wish, TamilNadu should lead the way to establish well co-ordinated, efficient and an independent intelligence agency. Whatever may be the opposition from Central Government, obviously they wont want any state to share these central services, but I would suggest in humble way to go ahead with establishing a kind of intelligence network, which would fetch benefits in long term. It is need of the hour, we protect our maritime borders. I would like this to be done even starting at minimum level, so that atleast we would set the process moving. Experience tells us, if I am not wrong, we had a terrible experiece about a decade back, and its better to put things in perspective and get rid of unprecedented.... Its my humble suggestion to see TamilNadu leading the way for long term intelligence sharing with neighbouring states and to centre. Please excuse me, if there are already such agencies withing TamilNadu Government doing such activities, I am just writing for the after effects of latest developments, Anand Pondicherry

Sir, Its my small suggestion on par with the power crisis we have been facing at the moment. Hope this will be a one of the permanent solution to the existing power crisis. Since Tamilnadu climatic conditions are being Hot,Hotter and Hottest through out the year, Why we can think about generating electricity power using solar energy by planting solar cells in hectares/acres of land shortly termed as Solar Farm. Though the investment demands high during the installation but it will be a long term strategy for the power crisis with one term investment and with less maintanance cost. Kindly go through the following website id's, which gives you the idea of solar farm and generation of power eco friendly using solar energy. www.solarpowergeneration.com www.ecofriend.org www.ecofuss.com gliving.tv/.../2008/03/abengoa-solar-farm.jpg www.harvest-financial.ie/ www.ecofriend.org www.jetsongreen.com www.ecorific.com www.gizmag.com Thanking you sir, Regards, Chandrasekar Natesan +91 99656 91591 Erode.

Respected Sir, My name is gunasekaran, my village is "Anthakudi", Kilvelore Taluk, Nagapattinam - Dist, I am a true DMK member since I know the Politics even my father and forefather also in the same party. My village votes are 1250/- out of 1350 700-800 votes for 100% DMK. In all the president elections and other elections DMK will come in full majority. If simply says "Anthakudi village is DMK Kottai" But nowadays the trend is changed due to internal politics among the Kilvellore Taluk (Ondrium. As per the ratio of Devendra Kula Velalar - 400 votes, Adi-Dravidars - 250, Backward castes - 350, Muslims - 100, others - 250. Now a days the trend is going down. All DMK members are going to others party and diverting to some other party. As a true DMK members I am not able to digest such a untolering divertion. Kindly do the action at the specific area. Save our party. And make arrangement for unity amoung the two parties within the village. Yours

Sir, In velachery due to rain there was powercut for nearly two days that is 48 hours. Even though the rain was very heavy, but power cut for this longtime shows where we are standing and how we are facing natural calamities. i think it is now in your hands to set up a department separately for the Disaster Management becuase the total india is very poor on this but i think you can start as an example. Also, the EB people and corporation people are always expecting money for whatever work they do i do not know when they will work for their salary please have a look in to this matter also. On whole the ELECTRICITY will be a bad mark for the present govt and i think it will take a longtime for the people of tamilnadu to forget it, this is the fact. Thank you.

Respected Sir, Kindly refer my requests dated posted by me regarding sharing of 50% by tn govt for five new railway line projects pending with planning commission for approval [want of 50% share]. Today dinamalar chennai edition reported [new delhi news]Thiru T.R. Balu, Hon ble Union Shipping and Transport Minister informed our Honble CM agreed to share the cost of the new five line projects pending with planning commission. After seeing this news I am very happy. Sir, my request is tn govt must issue press release regarding five new line projects and sharing cost of the projects in the interest of developing tn state. This is very much needed to clear the doubt whether tn govt is going to share or not. I am sure the whole credit goes to UPA led central govt and DMK led tn govt. No doubt present and next generation people will not forget the above new lines if it is completed. Sir, one request the proposed ariyalur to thanjavur new line may please be extended upto pattukotai via orathnadu so that Thanjavur Jn, Karaikudi Jn and Ariyalur Jn will be made as busiest stations. Congestions at trichy, dindigul and madurai will be reduced. People can travel via ariyalur, thanjavur, orathanadu and pattukottai skippping trichy, dindigul and madurai. It will be alternative route for Kanyakumari to Chennai. Nagai, Thanjavur and Tiruvarur people can travel directly to rameswaram, tirunelveli et besides very helpful to connect chennai with thanjavur directly via ariyalur. While agreeing sharing 50% cost, tn govt may request Railway to make foundation stone ceremony for the above new line projects and complete within 5-7 years period. The cost escalation if any should not be borne by the tn govt. Usually railway will take so many years to complete the project casually. Therefore, the period of completion may be within 5-7 years. Thanking you, Nagai S. Mohan

Sir, I'm born & bought up in Tamil Nadu, but living in Bangalore for the last 6 years because of my job. I still have my roots in Tamil Nadu (My parents live there). I have some decent knowledge on the politics happening in the country. Going by the latest media reports & publishing i feel that we are lagging in most areas like power, infrastructure, transport, e-governance, performance of your ministers at both state & central governments. And going by the news / advertisements / programs in your channel / any magazines, i'm sorry to let you know that it boasts much, contradicting to what we get to hear from other sources. I'm extremely hurt / sad while mentioning this, as i know that your father & his family had contributed most of their life for the state. But, going by the recent developments, be it the issue of tamils in Sri Lanka, Hogenakal, recent law college incident, drift with SUN TV group, family politics...... the people of the state is unhappy on it and i fear that it will lead to a bad performance in the coming Lok Sabha elections. There are lot many issues the people in Tamil Nadu have & i feel that your father & the government should concentrate on that, than participating in audio / video releases, penning down poems. What ever i had penned down on this, is from the bottom of my heart & nothing personal about it and i hope that we work towards this & we should be able to make our state as the best.

When DMK assumed power, many initiatives got blocked due to PMK. For example, airport maintenance was about to be given to private for better service to people - which would have improved chennai airport. Just wondering why it was not tried again when PMK left the coalition. Same thing can be applied to other good initiatives.

NOTHERN CYPRUS SOLUTION-MOST SUITABLE FOR SRILANKA AT THE PRESENT SITUATION Even after 40 years of Turkish occupation Southern Cyprus Greeks are not willing to offer them autonomus status for the region they live even though they are willing to rejoin with the southerners if accepted. The same thing would have happened if LTTE would have allowed the Indian Army to remain there. Unfortunately because of selfish Pirapakaran Tamil people of Northeast has lost the golden oppotunity. What is important to Pirapakaran is not winning the rights of the Tamils but it should be said thet it was won by him. When Nothern Cyprus had been occupied overnight by Turkish army the US air force helped them. If this solutuion is acceptable to the west if India find the same solution the west cannot say no. Cyprus problem is very identical to the Srilankan problem. When Cyprus was given independent the British system of democracy automatically handed over the power to the Majority Greeks. They started giving the land of the North to the southern Greeks for vineyards. In Sri Lanka when got independent the Sinhalese population in the Nothern province was almost zero and now Southern Half of Vavunia district and Southern Mullitivu are colonized with Sinhalese. In the East the Sinhalese were less than 3% and now nearly 33%. All the best irrigatable and mountainious part of east is given to outside Sinhalese. Only the wrong system of British democracy gave this chance to the Majority Sinhalese. Saying to the west that we are giving a Cyprus type of solution to the Tamils and occupying is the only solution until Sinhalese agree to accept an autonomus homeland for the Tamils. J.N.Rajah

Hello, I am happy and welcome to see such an iniative from Honorable minister Shri, M.K. Stalin, to have web site and forum for taking suggestion from public. My suggestion: I have been travelling in the Anna salai for past 5 Years from Anna statue to Arivalayam. I follow to stick to the right side of road (lane 1) as I drive a 2 wheeler. But most of the times I come across a situation that MTC buses coming over their lane either to the lane 2 or lane 1 itself. When they come to lane 2, the cars move to lane 1, Where can the people driving in lane 1 can go? Get hit with the medians? tend to be imbalance as they apply sudden brakes! I request to pass mandatory instructions to the MTC drivers to stick to lanes both while driving or at the stops. Also, I suggest to keep Traffic constables, Volunteers at both pre and post the signals to guide the traffic to stick to their lanes. Thanks Vijay

Hi, Great to note the steps you are taking for the betterment of the people at large!. I would like to bring to your notice the menance caused by Auto Drivers in the city. They never use the meters and take the common man, the auto user for a ride on most of the times. If at all they comply by meter charges, usage and partonage would only improve. But it has been the case for years. I am sure if governement willing, strict monitoring can be implemented. I request you to take immediate steps in bringing these errant auto drivers to adhere by the meter charges and take action on those not complying with the directive. If this is achieved, this will go a long way in helping the people to commute from one place to another in a peaceful manner. Thanks

DMK has once again proved its skill in ruling and managing the state . but as a black mark , there are areas which spoils the name.I live in the Madipakkam, south sub - urban of chennai, for the past 20 years. the local panchayat does not provide adequate facilities like road , lights and cleaning the garbage. they have put the road which peels of during rain. there are 5 contractor for a 500 meter road , where each bit is of different height. the speed breakers put are more steep causing back pain.the funds alloted for every panchayat are not properly disbursed to built the infrastructure. the madipakkam terminus is kept open for the private buses to park and full of garbage. the corner of the terminus is filled with drainage which is near the Ration shop , where people stand in queue to buy their essential goods. i request you to take care this issue providing us a good atmosphere. also i request you to provide more buses from Madipakkam to Saint Thomas mount and other areas. we are now depending on only bus M51M which runs between , Madipakkam and T.nagar via Saint Thomas Mount railway station. There was a bus earlier F51 running between madipakkam to Broadway via Saint Thomas Mount Station was stopped suddenly. I also request you to make the buses V51 , M45E , M70K,M45,M1,M12,21L Extn & B21L extn come to Madipakkam terminus ,which comes from Keelkattalai passes through Velachery , bye-passes around 0.5 km from the terminus which causes people who are away from Madipakam terminus has to walk a long to catch these buses. i hereby request you kindly to take action for our requests , which makes lakhs of people happy. thanking You

Respectful Thalapathi, Please advice our Trichy Corporation and Highways department to evict ancroachements in the middle of Puthur High Road. Sir ! It is the major link road to the commuters from Trichy Junction and Central Bus stand for the residents of Puthur, Ramalingangar , Woraiyur, Fathima nagar , Kulumani , Nachalur. More over its the lone road lead to important tourist spot of Vekkaliamman Koil at outskirts of Woraiyur. So Heavy traffic inflow is on the raod through out the day and the commuters are in regular trouble due to the road narrowing becoz of encroachment at salai pillaiyar koil zone. More over unauthorised parking of tourist cabs through out the road is the great nuisance to the public. So please take appropriate steps to evict encroachements at salai pillayar koil zone and prohibhiting the unauthorised parking of tourist van , car and ambulance operators at the earliest time possible , sir. Respectful Thalapathi, In Trichy Corporation now they are issuing notices to pay the revised taxes in the stipulated time of 15 days. But Except that of Counter at Trichy Corporation Buildings all other remaining payment outlets functioning was so poor and totally nuisance to Public. Even at the Zonal offices of Corporations, Public are in great trouble to pay their taxes due to single man department of collection and he too from the near by banks and not of corporation. When we report about the negligence of the person at the collection counters , authorities told that the counting personal is not the staff of our corporation so we are not having any rights to command or advice them. In the banks counters mentioned in the tax notification , when we approached they denied by simply saying that ther are not receiving any information from Corporation officials to collect the taxes. So as the Admirable , Local Administration minister you may kindly look in to the matter and create a free and peaceful atmospere for tax payers to corporation by appropriate advices. Nandriudan, M.Sivaprakash

Dear sir, I am forwarding this mail on behalf of the residents of 4th main road Gangai Nagar. For the recent days the drainage system is very worse and for each and every drop of rain makes the road like small islands. The drainage comes out after the rain and it is giving a lot of trouble to the peoples. Two days back one boy residing in this area was infected with dengue fever and admitted in hospital because of the mosquito prevailing there. Please take immediate action becasue we do not want anymore dengue victims there. Expecting your action, Thank You.

Dear Sir, In the vision statements, all the visions are good. If we provide the time to acheive those visions then it would be fine to measure our real growth. This may be initial version but in the next revision I hope we can add those details also. Thanks for exposing you a people servant. It is nice to see that commitment from a future Leader.
