Dear Stalin Although current & past DMK government(s) had initiated & implemented many useful programs which were not communicated properly to the common people.Continous success stories need to be communicated thru many modes such as TV,Paper,Internet,School/College program. Also few more suggestions 1) let the people know about the government SHORT & LONG Term goals, and baseline the information what was the status before and after your new program initiatives, so that people can compare what are being done by DMK government. 2) Absolutely quality of education and infrastructure in the government school need to be improved and this should become model for the entire nation. again that need to be communicated across the country thru different modes. 3) Quality of medical services, and infrastructure in the government hospital. 4) Pollution and drainage improvements across the state. 5) Give the monthly status to the common people about the progress on short & long term goals for the following categories which are essential for common people a) Good quality of (GQO) Education and infrastructure b) GQO medical services and infra c) GQO infrastructure re in terms road, bridge, water, electricity, e-Governance, more educated & experienced people in your government who can add to the party and the people. If your government makes difference on the above programs, I am sure that TN become role model for the nation. BTW, I was impressed what I got my second baby birth certificate in 3 minutes in USA, but for my son when he born I had to struggle like anything to get the birth certificate and finally I had to bribe to get the same. When USA can, why not us. let us learn from others... Thanks for the opportunity to share the views and suggestions to the people like you who can not be reached by any common people very easily Regards Murali.

Today the Last day of the year, as usual I travel on my way to office, today I saw a quite good number of cutout displaying Govt scheme, Good to see, But my humble suggestion is lot of cutout is placed as if it hits traffic, so today I saw quite slow traffic due to this cutout on velacherry road. And another incident I like to bring to your notice is, when I travel to kumbakonam, A local person of our party has (Seems a wealthy person) placed a numerous cutout in and around that little city for his birthday, where lot of people suffer. When I spoke to some local people they curse that local person for his action. This may bring down our party image The party is doing good and progressing in good direction, but this small think can be taken care by you. We see you as our roll model. Hope you take appropriate action Thank you With regards Arunbabu

dear sir, My name is boopathi, living in pachapalayam village, coimbatore village. here i am wish to convey my suggestion on improving and creating awareness about imposing agricultural activities on the young generation who are in schools and colleges. please think about the NSS GROUPS AND TRY TO REDIRECT THEIR VIEW ON AGRICULTURE, THEY CAN SPEND THEIR FIELD ACTIVITIES ON THE LANDS INSTEAD OF CLEANING ROADS. IF THEY KEEP ON DOING CLEANING ROADS THEY WOULDN'T GET ANYTHING AND WASTING THEIR KNOWLEDGE. BUT IF YOU DEVISE A PLAN TO PUT THEM IN THE AGRI FIELD THEY CAN MENTALLY AND FINANCIALLY WILL BE GETTING TO KNOW ABOUT AGRI AND SURELY IT WILL END UP IN INCREASING OUR PRODUCTION AND MAINLY CAN REDUCE SO MANY GOVERNING PROBLEMS. EXECUTE THIS YOU CANN'T HEAR THE WORD "NO WORK" FROM ANY OF THE YOUNG BREED TOO YOU CAN BECOME A ROLEMODEL FOR THEM. THROUGH THIS THERE ARE MANY USEFUL HAPPENINGS AWAITING FOR YOU IF YOU GATHER THEM UNIT LIKE "WOMEN SHG" THINK ABOUT IT... NOTE : IF I MISTAKEN BY MY WORDS FORGIVE ME...IF YOU BELEIVE THIS WE ARE READY TO FOLLOW YOUR DIRECTIONS... EXPECTING YOUR NOTES ON THIS SOON... WITH THANKS boopathi

Dear Honarable Minister 1. With regard to the coovam river I have few suggestions, I am sure these suggestions are already suggested by experts. a) To clean up the river all the waste water/ sewarage water to be diverted and treated and used for some other purpose. b) Allow the sea water(back water) inside the coovam river during high tide which will clean the river to maximum extend c) Promote the banks of the river to realestate promoters, ( like in Venice, Dubai, Bahrain) d) promote alternative ways of transport within city using boats which will traffic congestion in the city. e) The back water from the sea can help proper ecosystem, for which the opening of the sea and coovam has to be widened.

Respected Sir, Suggestions for creating new corporations near to Chennai city. Let us go through the brief history about Madras. Madras city was formed, developed by Britishers by creating Ports, Forts, Hospital such as General hospital, Stanley Hospital, Kilpauk Hospital, Royapeta Hospital, Maternity Hospitals ( Egmore, Triplicane ) Children’s Hospital, Eye Hospital, Mental Health Hospital, Vetinary Hospital, ( all are within 5 km radius ), Railway stations namely Madras Central, Egmore, suburban railway stations from Beach to Guindy ( within city ) in south, Beach to Perambur in west, Beach to Tondiyarpet in north, Tramways, Bus services, inland waterway Backincum Canal, Ottri Nala channel created by them, churches, educational institutions, colleges, university, were established, industries were setup by them such as Binny Ltd, Simson Groups, Printing Presses, ICF, Railway yards, Goods Yards, Number of Broad Roads for public transport, High Roads for connecting villages of yesteryears ( Britishers named those roads in English but our politician renamed those roads dedicating to Indian leaders - this is our taste ) Madras corporation had local markets in each area, flower market, fruit market, vegetable market near old bus terminus, Madras corporation created numbers of public parks, swimming pools, Zoological park, Museum, public library, Halls, auditoriums etc, Madras corporation had good drainage system, flood water drains were provided, water supply were made through pipes, conduits were laid from Redhills lake to kilpauk water treatment plant to provide drinking water to Madras. Madras Corporation Mayor had judicial powers through Mayors court, Metropolitan Courts, High courts, jail were established, and Police Head quarters are created. After Independence, Madras was well maintained, City Improvement Trust created new residential layouts within Chennai limits, later TN Housing Board created new residential layouts within city and CMA. CMWSSB is in charge of water supply and sewerage disposal. Presently Chennai city corporation limits has minimum residential area only because most of the land parcels within the city limits is covered by southern railways, state govt. offices, central govt. offices, judicial courts, defense establishment, port trust, AIR, DD, industrial houses, publication houses, banks, insurance & financial institutions, corporate offices, hospitals, temples, colleges, institutes, schools, universities, IIT, airline offices, sports stadiums, swimming pools, public halls, theaters, auditoriums, parks, hotels, hospitals, clinics, hostels, restaurants, clubs, commercial malls, political party offices, churches, mosques, tanks, canals, river, markets, bus depots, power house stations etc. In spite of broad roads, ROB, RUB, flyovers, pedestrian subways we are unable to control traffic we are unable to fulfill basic requirements such as water, pollution free air, living space, etc. Presently Chennai corporation has Ripon Building as its Head office and it has 10 Zonal offices, each zone has 15 Division offices each division has its own office for its departments to function supported by human resources, logistics etc Chennai corporation has number of schools, parks, traffic islands, dispensary, hospitals, libraries, swimming pools, play grounds, gym, marriage halls, commercial complexes, truck parking places, burial grounds, crematorium, dumping yards, pump houses, markets, public conveyance, slaughter houses etc. CMDA which was created in the year 1975 for the development of infra structure facilities in Chennai city corporation, CMA. But CMDA has failed in all spears because of its rural based officials of CMDA who are not concentrating on the development of Chennai city, they do not have any long term vision, they do not have the knowledge to develop a city, they are incapable to copy the handy British given chennai module, the best example to prove this is design of inner ring road which width vary from place to place it has only few link roads connected to it, which was worst affected by the floods in the resent monsoon rains (compare with Anna salai alias Mount road ). CMBT has reached its saturation. Planner, engineers are good fund raisers for the govt. by way of collecting the regularization fees, they are not able to enforce building rule by preventing violation, they are not able to carry out the demolition of violated building only for the reasons better known to them. CMDA have totally neglected the development of CMA other than IT corridor. CMWSSB which serves only within the Chennai Corporation limits which has 30% residential 70% non-residential area. CMWSSB is able to fulfill water supply need only for the past couple of years thanks to good monsoon. But the treatment of sewage is not satisfactory (worst condition of Cooum River and Backinkkam canal) As per CMDA Public Consultation on Delineation of New City Corporation around Chennai, in which various alternatives are given, in which alternative II is justifiable in all aspects, respects. Other alternatives will create lopsided development because they are one-sided, partial, with adverse interest. CMDA Public Consultation on Delineation of New City Corporation around Chennai, in which various alternatives are given, clearly shows they are concern only with revenue generation not for long run growth prospects. Suggestions I hereby humbly request the respective officials to name the new corporations as North Chennai Corporation (Ambattur Corporation) South Chennai Corporation (Tambaram Corporation). Any new corporation to be created should have minimum standards established by British Madras Corporation, such as underground sewerage drainage facility, piped drinking water, flood water drains, good metal toped broad streets, good connecting roads to the highways, parks, medical dispensaries, hospitals, educational institutions, playgrounds, burial grounds, crematoriums, dumping yards, public conveyances etc. which are basic necessity for a city corporation. Revenue Department, PWD, CMWSSB, Local Bodies (with in CMA), HR&CE Dept, Animal Husbandry Dept, SIDCO, State Highways Dept should evict all the encroachments in barren lands, water bodies, channels, cart track, industrial area, streets, highway roads, temple lands, temple tanks, etc with in CMA. CMDA should reclassify, initiate development for creating facilities by the proposed corporations, CMWSSB, slum clearance board in the encroached lands in ordination with the above mentioned departments. To decongest the traffic, roads should be broadened to smoothen the traffic flow, new connecting roads should be formed, with ROB, RUB, flyovers, pedestrian subways for fasten the traffic flow, proposed Metro rail should be connected with Thiruvatriour, Villivakam, Korattur railway stations in the proposed North Chennai Corporation (Ambattur Corporation) and with Guindy, Saint Thomas Mount, Meenambakkam railway stations in the proposed south Chennai corporation (Tambaram Corporation). As per master plan II of CMDA multi storey residential / commercial buildings apart from IT MSB will be permitted in the CMA area which will result in more population in the proposed two new corporations than the Chennai Corporation. Govt. of Tamilnadu should concentrate more on basic infra facilities for the public of proposed new two corporations within CMA, Which has to cater the needs population growth for next 100 years. Ambattur Corporation As for as Proposed Ambattur corporation which is covering Thiruvatriur, Ambattur, Avadi Townships has larger land extent mostly has Industries Tiny sector units, industrial units, Small scale Industrial units, light industrial units, medium industrial units, automobile heavy industries, foundries, power plants, refineries, tyre industries, fertilizer industries, garment industries, chemical units, printing units, food industries, electrical manufacturing units, fabrication units, milk dairies, pharmaceutical units, industrial estates, IT hubs, VSNL transmission centre, railway car complex, army vehicle ammunition depot installation (AVADI), IAF, ordnance factory, tank factory, clothing factory, educational institutions, ITI, colleges, universities, AIR transmission centre, TN police training centre, hospitals which generates employment to majority of people in the city. Proposed Ambattur Corporation has good road connectivity with IRR, NH 5, NH 205, porposed ORR, railway connectivity with Chennai from thiruvatriur, ambattur, avadi railway stations, TNHB has developed lay outs, constructed flats, at manali newtown, madavaram milk colony, mogapair, nolumbur, korattur, thirumulaivoil, avadi, ayappakam etc there are number of developments taken place in CMDA, local bodies approved residential layouts. All the approach roads to railway stations, bus stations should be widened for free flow of traffic. The proposed Ambattur Corporation should be provided with adequate man power by private participation, technical support, and logistic support to meet out the challenges of the development in the corporation area. I hope that my suggestions will be taken in positive note, in order to form the proposed corporations for the benefit of public at large. Thanks and Regards, N.Ganesh, “Samudhra” No.4. 4th Avenue, “A” Sector, Sivasakthi Nagar, Avadi RCC. Chennai 600 109.

Dear Sir, It is really good that goverment is putting tar to roads. But I have one small suggestion towards it.Whenever government is putting Tar on road kindly dig the old tar road once and again put over it. We generally face problem only during rainy days.Tar does not have property to absorb water . As we put tar over and over, roads are becoming high and houses are going further down. This causes rain water to get accumulated in houses. And the houses are flooded. So,Kindly consider this suggestion.

In my opinion, distribution of flood relief amount (Rs.2000/-) may be distributed thro' Government Authorities like Ration shop etc. My kind suggestion is that this amount may be distributed by means of food items through Ration Shop. Distribution of money thro' Councellor is not properly reaching the beneficiaries. They are demanding commission from this amount and some of them not willing to distribute the amount to the beneficiaries. This is for your kind information.

Respected sir I wish you for your great success. I would like to bring you forward a problem of village people who were unable to get the dental treatment because of absence of dentist and dental treatment in Primary Health Centers, hence the village people go to private dental clinics in town where they cant afford for higher money for the treatment. The village people suffer a lot in getting the dental treatment. So I kindly request you to do the needs for the village people in getting the dental treatment by appointing the dental surgeon in block Primary Health Center throughout Tamil Nadu.

Anbulla Thalapathi, Ungal Thalamaiyil anaivarum valamayil vazhkirom. Nee endrum pallaandu vazhga. I m native of Kumaravalasu, near Erode. Thanks to better governance by DMK, most of the single roads in Tamilnadu has become double roads. But, the road leading to Poondurai to 3 road (Poondurai - Maniyampalayam -Lingaatha Kuttai- Pannak kinaru- Vadugapatti - Kandasamy palayam - Thandam palayam - 3 road) is still a small single road, eventhough there is enough space to make it double road it has not been done. Further the road is having a lot of curves from Poondurai upto Erappam palayam pirivu. Hence we request your goodself to consider to make an alternate route from Poondurai - elumathur road upto minnakaattuvalasu pirivu - minnakaattu valasu (upto this road is available)- Arunthathiyar colony - Erappam palayam pirivu. It will give great relief to the prople making journeys on this road. If double road is made then we can make easy journeys from Erode upto Muthur. This is a long pending demand of around 50000 people living in these area. Engal Amaichar Muthur Saminathan avargale, please consider this proposal. Hope our lovingly Thalapathi will take initiative and do this work for us. Live long Thalapathi, engal Thalapathi.

Respected Sir, Recently I read Jr. Vikatan biweekly weekly magazine regarding new railway line between Pattukottai and Thanjavur Jn via Orathanadu [45 kms approximate]. The people of Pattukottai and Orathanadu struggling for the above new line since independence. This line is very very important one because already there is a proposal of new line between Thanjavur and Ariyalur via Thiruvaiyaru [40 kms]. I have repeatedly demanding a new line between Pattukottai and Ariyalur via Orathanadu, Thanjavur and Thiruvaiyaru 85 kms.. This line [85 kms] will be not only useful for development of Pattukottai and Orathanadu to get connection with Thanjavur but it will be serve as a parallel line between Chennai and Virdhunagar, Rameswaram, Karaikudi, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil jn. Thanjavur Jn , Karaikudi Jn and Ariaylur will be as busiest junctions if the entire stretch completed. Thanjavur Jn , Pattukottai will be directly connected with Rameswaram skipping Tiruchi and Pudukottai. Moreover, all trains from Chennai to southern districts will be operated via ariyalur, tiruvaiyaru, thanjavur, orathanadu and pattukottai instead of tiruchi jn, dindigul jn and Madurai jn. Congestion at Tiruchi jn will be reduced. Thanjavur town will get face lift. People of Cauvery delta can travel to Rameswaram, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli directly and also shortest route for them. Journey time will be reduced drastically. Karaikudi Jn and Thanjavur Jn will be directly connected with Chennai , Tirupathi, Bangalore and Hyderbad besides all North bound cities via Ariyalur, Vridhachalam Jn. Similarly Rameswaram, Tiruneveli, Virudhunagar, Nagercoil , Kanyakumari and Tiruvanthapuram Jn. All southern state capitals besides New Delhi, howrah, Mumbai will be connected. It will be a parallel and alternative route between Chennai and Southern Districts like chord line via Tiruchi, Dinidigul and Madurai. In case any dislocation between Ariyalur to Tiruchi, or Tiruchi to Karaikudi via PUdukottai stretches, this line can be used for diversion also. Already a survey work completed for new railway line between Madurai and Karaikudi via Tirupathur. If this line comes, Pattukottai will also be linked with Madurai via Karaikudi. Therefore, the new line between Pattukottai and Thanjavur jn [45 kms] and between Thanjavur Jn and Ariyalur [40 kms] may please be got approved and called as a single new line between Pattukotai Jn and Ariyalur Jn via Orathanadu, Thanjavur Jn, Tiruvaiyauru. This will also helpful for Pattukottai, Orathanadu, Thanjavur Jn, Tiruvaiyaur and Ariyalur development. This will help to develop Thanjavur Jn as one of the world class important railway station in our country. Thiruvaiyaru will be attracted by all over the country since it will get connected entire southern state capitals and rest of the country. It is true if Pattukottai to Thanjavur Jn new line and Thanjavur Jn to Ariyalur are not approved now it will severely affect the development of entire combined Thanjavur districts. Hence your immediate intervension is highly appreciated. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, S. Mohan

Sir The councilors after getting elected never visit the area until the next election. Here is a suggestion at least for the DMK councilors. the councilors must visit the area atleast in a quarter and submit a report to you and the Mayor on the civic condition of his area and you may personally verify the authenticity of the report at random and followup action taken by them. This will instill a sense of compulsion to visit the area whether they like or not

Dear Mr.Stalin Greetings to you. I live near porur, chennai. After reading your blog on global warming,I want to share some information about Arcot Road, chennai. The entire stretch of arcot road especially from AVICHI School to Porur circle has no trees or hardly one or two. There is no shade or greenary on the road sides. This is big problem during summer days particularly when you are walking in the road.Kindly plan for tree planting along the road sides of this road. This will also absorb the corbon gases and noise in the air as this road is crammed with vehicles. The other issue in arcot road is the missing pedestrian platform. The platforms are either not available or used by the shopkeepers. This make the people walk on the road causing problems to drivers of two wheelers & four wheelers. Please do something to clear this problem. Kindly do something at the earliest especially for issue one before the summer starts so that it will be useful after 5 years when the trees reach some good height.Thaking you. Covey my respects to Dr.Kalaignar. Thanks & Regards K.Senthilnathan

Respected Sir, Recently Hon ble AP Chief Minister Dr. Rajasekara Reddy wrote letter to Shri Lalu Prasad Yadva, Hon ble Rly Minister to allocate atleast 1000 crores for on going railway projects in the state. Moreover they want approval for atleast dozen[12] new railwayline projects in their state to improve infrastructure facilities and for economic growth development. He agreed to bear the 50% cost of the estimate cost on behalf of A.P state govt. Therefore, my humble request is we have also to get the pending projects approval from Planning commission besides new line projects between pattukottai and thanjavur 45-50 kms via orathanad and also between karaikal and sirkali 40 kms via tranquabar, tirukadaiyur and tiruvenkadu at the earliest. I hope this mail will reach you and further action will be taken immediately. thanking you, yours faithfully, S. Mohan

Dear Sir, Govt. is distributing water relief fund to all people in Chennai who are having ration card those who are affected and not affected by the water. I would like to say that my house was also affected for the 4 days and we were shifted to my cousin brother’s house in Medavakkam for that period. Now Govt. is distributing fund but they are insisting to bring ration card. I have applied for the card and not yet got the same. I suggest that the govt. must give fund to those applied for the ration card also. Regret to inform you that people who are staying in the flat and not affected by the water was also got the fund. In view of the above genuine people must get the fund. It is very embarrassment to the genuine affected people because they have not received the money. Kindly advice to the concerned official so that they can distribute money to the affected people immediately. Instead of giving fund to all ration card holders Govt. can distribute fund after checking the area/house through the local councilor not holder of ration card. It is strange. I look forward to your favourable reply very soon. i am residing at Kodambakkam in ward 77. I am a DMK member. Thank you

Dear Sir, Guindy traffic (in GST road) is becoming a nightmare for the chennai people, especially in the peak hours like from 8am-11am and from 4pm-8pm. In this peak hours, lakhs of people are using guindy subway to go to guindy railway station or to cross the road. Since Guindy bus stop and this subway are very nearer to each other( Probably both are same ) and lot of people are using this subway , its getting very crowded and congested. It takes 10-15 minutes to cross the road through this subway and people are standing in the queue to get in to this subway. Now the renovation work is going on in this old subway which will not solve this issue rather it will be helpful for beggars to stay at night. So It would be better to set another subway or foot bridge to cross the road in this place. If we set the foot bridge just opposite to petrol bunk (Next to Guindy railway station) , not only it will reduce the crowd in the guindy subway but also will reduce the traffic jam to some extent. Please look in to this issue and take necessary action for the people.

Dear Mr. Stalin, This is Anand. I would like you to introduce biometrics into Tamil Nadu DMV for licence. That will generate more jobs directly and indirectly. And, the goverment doesn't have to much spend money on it. And, main the intial setup money can be recovered on long run and also will start making money in future. Sir a small suggestion from my end is that atleast you should conduct one public foroum intereaction with the public of your constituency atleast once in a year so that we can interact with you and express our complaints and views. Hope you will not mistake me and address this. Regards C.L.Nanthakumar Ward No.113, Thousand Light Constituency

Local Administration

Sir, I am a IT professional. I really admire your expertise and excellence of your local administration. I appreciate your efforts in changing the city to "Singara Chennai". Given below is my suggestion regarding one reformation that can be made on PDS.(Public Distribution System) I would recommend a bank account should be opened for all the ration card holder. In case of any relief fund, you may directly credit the amount to the bank account of the ration card holder, so that the money does not get into the hands of middle man. This will also reduce lot of allegations regarding the bribery of the middle man and defamation to your position as Minister. By doing this, I feel that it will induce transparency in your administration, which is a symbol of trust that people would always expect for. I am looking forward that you take the initiative to implement the same. I wish you success in all your endeavours. Thanks, Jay

The Bus Fare in the City can be made as Re.1/Rs.2/3/4/5/6 etc. this will avoid the problems public/conductor facing on account of coins.

I have not so far get any reply from your end, Sir. What I would like to suggest u is to inform the complainants about the action you or your officials are taking in the matter so that the people will get some sort of satisfaction that their complaints/grievances are brought to your notice and you are taking some action against it and they will also be happy. I hope you will consider my suggestion and implement it shortly. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, S.Raghavan

Respected Sir, Good news, CRS inspection expected on 18th and 19th December 2008 for tiruvarur and nagore 31 kms and expected the trains will be introduced before 01.01.2009 and inaguration expected at Nagore shortly. Kindly take up the issue of introduction of nagore to chennai express via tiruvarur, thanjavur, trichy and also new BG line between Karaikal and Sirkali via tarangampadi, tirukadaiyur, tiruvenkadu so that entire places like vedaranyam, tiruthuraipoondi, tirukuvalai, velankanni, nagai, nagore and karaikal will be directed connected with chennai besides tirukadaiyur and tiruvenkadu with chennai. This will help boost tourism of east coast towns, villages. Also help to get basic infrastructure facilities by way of getting railway line in the backward areas. Poompuhar will be attracted by the tourism industry [tiruvenkadu, tranquebar, tirukadaiyur]. Thaning you, Yours faithfully, S. Mohan

Thanks to Thalapathi, we are getting a good local governance. I m native of Kumaravalasu near Erode. So many times we have requested to extend Bus no 26A from Erode to Muthur which is presently running between Erode and Thandampalayam. If it is extended upto Muthur, thousands of people will be benefitted everyday. There are two buses plying presently numbered 26A. This is one of the mostly crowded bus in Erode. Please increase the number of buses into 3. We request you to increase the number of buses and extend all trips of Bus no. 26A from Erode upto Muthur. If extended, both side (Erode as well as Muthur) people will be benefitted.Further Muthur is becoming a most likeable and lovely place because of its cleanliness, good people, superb roads and good transportation facilities. In future , to go to Vellakoil, Karur, Trichy, dindigul, Dharapuram, Madurai and Tiruppur, Muthur will be a better connecting point. Our request is genuine and need based. Kindly look into the matter personally and please extend the bus upto Muthur.

Respected Sir, The gauge conversion between tiruvarur jn and nagore via nagapattinam 31 kms is over and CRS inspection and certification is mandatory for opening passenger traffic. Sir, recently so many times CRS inspection expected but due to one or other reason postponed. The railway meter gauge line was closed on 15.1.2007 for gauge conversion for small stretch of 31 kms. Now around 2 years to be completed soon. People of tamil nadu wants to open the traffic atleast before christmas so that it will helpful for those wants to visit velankanni for christmas and new year 2009. At present only two / three passenger trains operated upto tiruvarur but it is regret not even a single express train is available in this section. Please demand introduction of express train already announced [two years back] atleast connect chennai via tiruvarur, thanjavur, trichy, vridhachalam since myladuthurai to villupuram GC work will take another one year [minimum 8-10 months], extent tricy - ernkaulam express upto nagapattinam and a new overnight express train between nagore and nagercoil via tiruvarur, thanjavur, trichy, dindigul, madurai, virudhunagar , kovilpatti and tirunelveli jn. At present CM's native place is not at all conncected by rail with any places except thanjavur/tiruchy. Nagapattinam is going to again Broad Guage after 134 years [1861-1875 period it was the Broad Gauge line and southern railway, Head Quarter was at tiruchi] Thanking you and anticipating your action, please. Yours faithfully, S. Mohan
