Dear Sir, i am son of DMK councilor in vellakovil. i want to speak about LTTE. actually they not fighting for Tamil people. in 1986 LTTE attacked The Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) and the Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front (EPRLF). killed most of the Tamils. As those organisation are not ready to hear LTTE's voice. Now also they are using tamil people as human shield in this War as well they are cowards not ready to fase the fight in line. So we should make tamilnadu to know this. we should not give this as a political advantage for others. i want DMK and congress to win all the seat in TN. if others using LTTE as sympathy to get vote our country will then move in wrong direction. Dear thalapathi, Am a medical student about to finish my internship.I would like to give a suggestion regarding govt hospital set up in certain districts [like Karur] where the facility of govt hospital is surplus but the lack of professionals denies both common people and middle class good health facility.In such cases please implement a scheme under which policies would allow certain private practitioners to work part time in Govt. hospitals under voluntary health service so that the lack of professionals is overcome.It would also fill the gap of doctors in certain rural areas.Poor people and the middle class will get benefit out of the same.Such tie ups I believe would definitely increase the status of Govt hospital setup in districts like karur making poor people get more benefits out of it.Please consider the same and increase the status of Govt hospital so that we will be proud tat indeed it was under Thalapathi's regime that Govt hospitals acquired a good status in Tamilnadu.Also I would suggest that the right time has come for the party to start a medical corps front in which young doctors can participate in DMK led health activities in rural districts.Medical wing from DMK would ensure that the party gets in a lot of educated professional youth crowd which would certainly rise the party's vote bank among the youngsters of Tamilnadu.Please consider the above request.Indru Ull Aatchi,Naalai Un aatchi.Vazgha Kalaignar,Vazharga Kazhagam.

Dear Sir, My humble request is please do something favour for our Lankan Tamil peoples. I have a sprit to help them and I don’t have a power, if I have a power I’ll do definitely, but you have both power and the sprit sir. Please help them. I want to do something for them, but I am in helpless. I always like to stand by near you. I can’t compromise myself, bcos so many of our Tamil Peoples are suffered and died everyday, as you know very well. We are doing our level best, I know sir, but I feel it is little late. Please do something fast for the dying peoples. We need to act fast. We wants live like a lion. We [DMK, PMK, THIRUMAVALAVAN & our team] are the first person to give a voice against the war, but no use. ADMK is diverting the problem and doing brain washes the peoples. For the past 3 months ADMK & DMDK never speaks single word. Now they are act like to overtaking us, all are eye wash. I love India, I am proud to be an India. I believe Central Govt. (congress) will not support this problem and they are encouraging Lankan Govt. I believe the awareness of the people about this issue is very low. As you know many ways to boost up the peoples. The Central Govt. raise a voice to Isral, but not doing any voice abut this issue. They are supplying Weapons and as well as Army troops. We already elected and support them 100% (40 MP seats) but they are insulting our peoples. The upcoming election they will never get a single seat in Tamil Nadu. Lankan Tamil issue must come all other channels like CNN, BBC and other world news channels. 4. Please ensure that Lankan Tamil issue’s responsibility to your shoulder, bcos other parties are torturing our CM. Please don’t make an argument with some other parties like (ADMK, MDMK, DMDK & other) they will divert this issue to different way. Yesterday ADMK ask what is CM’s statement about Rajiv gandhi’s murder and Kasmir issue. In Kasmir government is helping the peoples to protect, some terrorists are killing the peoples but in Lanka Govt are killing on their peoples. We accept Rajiv’s murder is punishable but here so many peoples death is equal to a one mans death revenge. I believe LTTE’s are saving our peoples and fight with the Army, they are not a terrorist. They are don’t killing any lankans people. The Pakistan terrorists are better then this Lankan govt. bcos they are fighting in front of me but the Lankans are attacking our backside. Few weeks before in Lanka, a small child around 6 years old is begging drinking water to some other old lady’s water can, I saw this in news, I can’t tolerate myself. They don’t have water, food, medicine and other necessary things. 8. Yesterday one our brother Mr. Muthukumarn burnt himself. 9. 'நான் கேட்கிற சாட்சியங்களை புலனாய்வுத்துறை காட்டிவிட்டால் என் கட்சிக்காரர்கள் தாங்கள் குற்றம் செய்ததாக தாங்களே முன்வந்து ஒப்புக் கொள்வார்கள்' என்று கூட சவால் விட்டார். இப்படி ஐம்பது நாட்கள் நடந்த எதிர்தரப்பு வாதங்கள் பல கேள்விகளை எழுப்பியிருக்கின்றன. இதோ அந்த விடை கிடைக்காத கேள்விகள்: 1. 1991 ம் வருடம் மே மாதம் 21 ம் தேதி டெல்லியிலிருந்து தேர்தல் பிரச்சாரத்திற்குக் கிளம்பினார் ராஜீவ் காந்தி. அவர் ஒரிசா, ஆந்திரா வழியாக சென்னை வந்தார். தமிழ்நாடு காங்கிரஸ் கமிட்டியின் நிகழ்ச்சி நிரலில் இல்லாத ஸ்ரீபெரும்புதூரில் நள்ளிரவுக் கூட்டத்தில் கலந்துகொள்ள அவர் எப்படி ஒப்புக் கொண்டார்? 2. ஸ்ரீபெரும்புதூருக்கு ராஜீவை எப்படியாவது வரவழைத்துவிட வேண்டும் என்று எங்காவது திட்டம் தீட்டப்பட்டதா? 3. புவனேஷ்வர், விசாகப்பட்டினம் ஆகிய இடங்களில் ராஜீவ் பிரச்சாரத்திற்கு சென்றபோது அவருடன் இருந்தவர் பாதுகாப்பு அதிகாரி ஓ.பி. சாகர். ஆனால் அவர் சென்னைக்கு ராஜீவுடன் வரவில்லை ஏன்? 4. பல்கேரிய நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த தொலைக்காட்சிப் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் ராஜீவ்காந்தியின் சுற்றுப் பயணத்தில் உடன் வந்தார்கள். அவர்களுடைய வேலை, ராஜீவ் பிரச்சாரத்தை வீடியோவில் பதிவு செய்வது. ஒரிஸாவிலும், ஆந்திராவிலும் ராஜீவ் செய்த முதல்கட்ட சுற்றுப் பயணத்தில் கலந்துகொண்ட அவர்கள், ராஜீவ் கலந்து கொள்ளும் பொதுக் கூட்டங்களுக்கு செல்லவில்லை. அவர்கள் பயணம் செய்த விசேஷ விமானத்தின் பைலட்டுடன் விசாகப்பட்டினத்தில் ஒரு ஆடம்பர ஹோட்டலில் தங்கியிருந்தார்கள். அப்படியானால் அவர்கள் உடன் வந்த காரணம் என்ன? 5. ராஜீவ் கிளம்புகிற விமானத்தில் கோளாறு ஏற்பட்டது. உடனே விமான நிலையத்திலிருந்து சர்க்யூட் ஹவுஸுக்குத் திரும்பினார் ராஜீவ். கோளாறு சரிசெய்யப்பட்டுவிட்டது என்கிற தகவல் அப்போதைய ஆந்திர முதல்வர் விஜயபாஸ்கர ரெட்டி மூலமாக கிடைத்தவுடன் விமான நிலையம் திரும்பினார் ராஜீவ். இந்தக் குழப்பத்தில் இந்த இரண்டு பல்கேரிய நாட்டு பத்திரிகையாளர்கள், பாதுகாப்பு அதிகாரி சாகரை தங்கள் காரில் ஏற்றிக் கொண்டு தாமதமாக விமான நிலையத்துக்கு வந்தார்கள். இதனால் ராஜீவுடன் விமானத்தில் பயணம் செய்ய சாகரால் முடியவில்லை. அனுபவம் மிக்க அந்தப் பாதுகாப்பு அதிகாரியை ராஜீவுடன் போகவிடாமல் செய்தது ஏன்? 6. சென்னையில் ராஜீவின் பாதுகாப்பு அதிகாரியாக செல்லவேண்டிய பி.சி.குப்தா, சென்னை விமான நிலையத்தில் ராஜீவுக்காக காத்திருந்தார். அதே விமானத்தில் வந்திருக்க வேண்டிய சாகரிடமிருந்து கைத்துப்பாக்கியை அவர் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். ஆனால் சாகர் வராததால் கைத்துப்பாக்கி இல்லாமலேயே குப்தா, ராஜீவுடன் செல்ல நேர்ந்தது. இதற்கு ஏதாவது உள்நோக்கம் உண்டா? 7. ராஜீவ் மீனம்பாக்கத்திலிருந்து கிளம்பியவுடன் ராமாவரம் தோட்டம் அருகே பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் என்ற பெயரில் இரண்டு பெண்கள் அவர் காரில் ஏறினார்கள். அவர்களுடைய அடையாளங்கள் சோதனைக்குள்ளானதா? இன்றுவரை அவர்களை ஏன் விசேஷப் புலனாய்வுத்துறை விசாரிக்கவில்லை? 8. யார் அந்த பல்கேரியர்கள்? அவர்கள் எங்கு சென்றார்கள்? 9. யார் அந்த இரண்டு அயல்நாட்டு பெண் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள்? அவர்கள் எங்கு சென்றார்கள்? 10. அந்த இரண்டு பத்திரிகையாளர்களும் ராஜீவை பேட்டி கண்டார்கள். ஆனால் த. பாண்டியனும், மரகதம் சந்திரசேகரும் அவர்கள் என்ன பேசினார்கள் என்பது தெரியாது என்றார்கள். இவர்கள் எதை மறைக்க முயலுகிறார்கள்? ஏன்? 11. தான் கொலை செய்யப்படுவதற்கு ஒரு மணி நேரத்திற்கு முன்பு, பாகிஸ்தான் ஜனாதிபதி ஜியா-உல்-ஹக்கை கொன்றது சி.ஐ.ஏ.தான் என்றார் ராஜீவ். அவர் ஏன் அப்படிச் சொல்ல வேண்டும்? அவரை சொல்லத் தூண்டிய காரணம் என்ன? தனக்கெதிராகவும் இப்படி ஒரு திட்டம் இருக்கலாம் என்பது அவருக்கு முன்கூட்டியே தெரியுமா? 12. 1991 ஜுலை மாதம் அன்றைய மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் எஸ்.பி. சவான், எல்.டி.டி.ஈ.யைத் தவிர வேறு சில சர்வதேச நிறுவனங்களும், பலம் வாய்ந்த வெளிநாட்டு சக்திகளும் ராஜீவ் கொலையின் பின்னணியில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்றார். 13. உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அப்படி சொல்லக்காரணம் என்ன என்பதை விசேஷ புலனாய்வுத்துறை ஏன் விசாரிக்கவில்லை? 14. வளைகுடா போரின்போது அமெரிக்க விமானங்களுக்கு இந்தியா எரிபொருள் கொடுத்து உதவியது. இந்த உதவியைச் செய்த சந்திரசேகர் அரசைக் கடுமையாகக் கண்டித்தார் ராஜீவ் காந்தி. அமெரிக்காவிற்கு இதனால் ராஜீவ் மீது ஏற்பட்ட கோபத்தையும், இந்தக் கொலையின் பின்னணியில் சி.ஐ.ஏ.வுக்கு பங்கு உண்டா என்பதையும் ஏன் புலனாய்வுத்துறை விசாரிக்கவில்லை? 15. பாலஸ்தீன விடுதலை இயக்கத் தலைவர் அராபத், 'ராஜீவ் உயிருக்கு ஆபத்து இருக்கிறது' என்று அன்றைய பிரதமர் சந்திரசேகரிடம் தெரிவித்தார். Hello Stalin Uncle, I recently travelled in the public bus in ECR and found lot of young school children without slippers. They are attending school barefoot. It was a very sad moment to see them walk like that in the hot sun. In spite of all the difficulties they enjoy and like going to the school. I wish the Govt. could make some arrangements and provide free slippers to all the Corporation and Govt. aided schools.

BPL techno vision unveiled a rechargeable study lamp for them here on Thursday. Called 'StudyLite', the lamp has been developed in collaboration with Sankara Nethralaya, the Chennai-based eye hospital, to provide, what it called ideal lighting for students, reports IANS. "We are happy to launch StudyLite, a breakthrough product that provides solution to frequent power cuts across India, hampering the crucial study hour of student community. StudyLite will now provide children uninterrupted light to carry on with their studies," BPL Techno Vision Chief Operating Officer K Gopi said at the launch here. "To make sure children do not suffer from improper lighting, we worked with Sankara Nethralaya, the foremost eye research hospital in the country to come up with the product," Gopi said. "Their team of experts helped us in making the first such study light in the country that is scientifically tested for ideal lighting ambience. We also used our engineering ingenuity to create an eco-friendly product that uses very little energy and can run on solar power," he added. StudyLite comes with a rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery back-up that could last for six hours. The light source used in StudyLite is 24 set of light-emitting-diode (LED) bulbs to provide flicker free, white light, with no ultra violet infra red radiations. "Further, LEDs typically use only ten percent of the power consumed by ordinary light bulbs which makes it highly efficient. LEDs also last up to 50 times longer than conventional compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) or incandescent light bulbs. StudyLite uses a dual power source. It can be powered either via mains power supply or through a solar panel that BPL provides as an additional accessory," Gopi said. Priced at Rs 1,690, the lamp is now available in Chennai and Bangalore. "Soon we will launch the product across India," Gopi said.

Dear Mr. Stalin, i have posted 3 or 4 suggestions to you earlier like creating a fund for tamil entreprenuers, ptching up with Maran Brothers etc. There is a progress. Please take up the following in a urgent basis. 1. We are all tamils. Our ancient kings have ruled most of the south asia like malay, java, sumatra etc. Now we have a population of close to 8 crores. But as a Mother land are we protecting our people? Including DMK we are doing politics. I can understand as Ms.Jayalalitha opposes LTTE, DMK is also forced to oppose LTTE and playing politics. But please remember one thing - in the next elections DMK may not win beyond 4 or 5 if this continues. Every Tamils heart is heavy whether they support LTTE or not. This will definitely reflect in elections. Kalaingar may be a Chanakyar in politics and he may think that all the free things will win elections. But they have the saturation point and it is reaching that point. After that, even if you are giving house free, no body is going to bother about that. So, at least force Kalaingar to act on the ethinic Tamils issue immediately. More over, if we are not able to protect our own people, who will respect us? Already the people from other states do not bother about us. We cannot keep on running from pillar to post. Why are you looking at petty political gains. Please look at the larger picture. Armed action against any government is not correct. The LTTE has made their point. I, on behalf of the residents of Manapakkam, Gerugampakkam, Kolapakkam, Tharapakkam and Kovur, would like to bring the following to the attention of our Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Kalaignar M Karunanidhi, Counsel of Ministers, Bureaucrats, Political Parties, Voluntary Organisations, Environmentalists and Social Activists and General Public. INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW 1. Vide GO No: 108 dated 19-10-2007, Government of Tamilnadu notified 1069.99 acres of land in the villages of Manapakkam, Kolapakkam, Gerugamapakkam, Tharapakkam and Kovur for the purpose of a Parallel runway on the northern side of Adyar River. There is No ‘in principle’ approval by Prime Ministers Infrastructure Committee exists for the parallel runway. This proposal is set to displace approx 5000 inhabitants in that general area. 2. The purpose, as understood, was to cater the needs of burgeoning traffic in the near future. The present runway accommodates about 28 movements per hour whereas the AAI targets to increase it to 50 movements per hour. However, the proposed 50 movements are also likely to be saturated by 2016, as projected by AAI. Technical analysis reveals that the topography existing in this area is believed to be unsuitable for a parallel runway due to seasonal flooding of Adyar River and also due to other environmental issues. Coupled with this is the associated acquisition hurdles. SALIENT FEATURES 3. In addition to the primary runway, 131 acres of land has already been acquired for extension of the existing Secondary runway along with like taxiway, terminal buildings for 23million passengers etc. This is said to cater the needs of the expected growth in traffic till 2016. 4. Under the present scenario, there is no scope for expanding the terminal buildings beyond the capacity of 30 million passengers due to inherent space constraints. It is also opined by retired Pilot and Air Safety Expert Capt. A. Ranganathan, whose words are an authority on such matters, that a technological upgradation of the infrastructure facilities is good enough to meet the increase in capacity from 23 to 30 million passengers. According to him switching over to RNP (Required Navigation Performance) setup which is satellite based will be a vibrant and economically viable solution than going for land acquisition and construction for expansion. 5. By adopting such a stance, the following merits will accrue:- • Save 947 houses with 5000 inhabitants. • Save Rs 3000 crores of compensation and 1500 crores towards construction of parallel runway by which taxpayer’s money can be justified. • Relief for 4000 approved plots in different layouts and partially completed houses. • Enables a reputed international school (Lalaji Omega International School) with 2000 students to continue with their academic activities. • Sustain 14 brick kilns and 15 industries that cater for the livelihood of more than 30,000 people. • Relieve wet cultivable land and livelihood of 2000 farmers thereof. • Save lives of 5 lakh people likely to be affected by floods every year. 6. Notwithstanding the above, the final and only solution, however, rests in a Green Field Airport which will see through the requirements of AAI for many years to come for which it is understood that the feasibility study has already been completed. REASONS FOR OUR REQUEST a. The Phase I expansion, for which 131 acres of land had already been acquired and handed over to the Airport Authority of India, will take care of the requirements till 2016. b. Even if a parallel run way is built, the terminal capacity and passenger movement can be ONLY increased from 23 Million to 30 Million only. This will be saturated by 2020 because of space constraints for additional terminal buildings. As agreed by Chairman AAI, hence constructing a parallel runway becomes obsolete. c. The CMDA Second Master Plan sketch 2026 which shows the building restrictions in the transitional zones does not reflect a parallel run way. This has further increased the ambiguity in the minds of people. d. Section 7 (1) of the Policy on Airport Infrastructure published by the Ministry of Civil Aviation states clearly that; any requirements of up gradation and modernization will have to be normally done in accordance with the master plans taking futuristic requirements into account. CMDA’s Second Master Plan for Chennai - 2026 does not show parallel runway and it is therefore, in violation of the said policy. e. Further, Section 14 (vii) of the same policy note states that, general policy decision needs to be taken that the AAI will only invest in projects with demonstrated economic viability and positive rate of return. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Economic Rate of Return (ERR) have been calculated and published in the PIB press release dated 14-Nov-2007 to justify the secondary runway expansion and other airport facility upgradation investments. However, no such computation has been initiated for construction of a new parallel runway, as made clear in the RTI response from AAI. f. Most importantly the construction of the parallel runway will have serious environmental implications in the form of flooding the neighbourhood. The areas of Porur , Mathananthapuram, Moulivakkam etc. are higher regions and during rain the water flows from these areas towards Manapakkam Kolapakkam, Girugambakkam and Tharapakkam to reach Adyar River. When a parallel runway is constructed and the periphery wall is built for approximately around 5 kms, this water will find no way to reach Adyar River and thus will flood the entire region. Culverts may be built at some points along the length of the runway to drain water, but this will only have a limited impact on the enormous quantities of water which will descend from the catchment’s areas. Building culverts could also have security implications. Even the extension of secondary runway across the river is dangerous and TN Govt. should re-consider the proposal of extension. g. Until the Green Field Airport is developed to meet the current requirements AAI can concentrate on technological upgradation. As suggested by renowned columnist and Airfield Safety Expert Capt. A. Ranganathan. • AAI can switch to RNP (Required Navigation performance) setup which is satellite based than the existing VOR, which is Radar based. Through this the performance of air traffic control can be enhanced (Gatwick Airport UK, is handling around 80 Aircrafts per hour with single runway). All the Aircrafts are already equipped with this RNP system. Only the ground system is to be installed. Economically this will be much lesser than the cost involved in land acquisition and construction for expansion. • Build a wider parallel taxiway and high speed exits in the existing primary runway. This will help Aircrafts clear off the runway much quicker allowing the next flight to land faster. To substantiate this, the Ministry of Civil Aviation also decided to constitute a Committee vide Order No.AV.15012/5/2005-A dated 20th March, 2006 for formulating Next generation futuristic Air Navigation Services Master Plan to cater the growing needs of air traffic both for the ground and airspace in the country. By acquiring 130 acres only and extending the Secondary runway (which would cater upto 2015-16) the, Why 1069.99 acres, more land than required have been notified? 5. When there is no in-principal approval and plan for the parallel runway, why is AAI insisting the state government for land? 6. When Green Field Airport is to be ready by 2015-16 and current expansion would cater upto 2016, what is the need for parallel runway? 7. While the state government has stated that the land has been handed over for expansion, then why it has not de-notified the remaining land? 8. When does the government intend to denotify the rest of 939 acres of notified land? Everyone knows about that family they fully involved and sacrifice themselves to DMK party even Mr.M.G.R tired to pull Mr.CVM to ADMK he refused and said my only leader that’s Mr.Kalangar. But currently his grandson Mr.Ezhilarasan has left his job and entered the same party after service to his father Mr.C.V.M.A.Ponmozhi. I think his father was a good leader and worked for the party and not given any posting apart from the DMK side. So this young and enthusiastic person Mr.C.V.M.P.Ezhilarasan should be given any posting in the DMK party and so only the future will be good. He has put all his effort for the parry for past 10yrs but the party has not done anything to him. Utleast the party should have given a post to him and encourage him for the next generation. New person will come to party and fly but person who are fully hearted you in their heart should be noted and given posting. Now days everyone is trying to earn money for their family and not for the people.
