Respected Sir: At the outset I would like to congratulate TNEB for their e billing collection service. It is really an excellent job done and I am sure it would have helped many people especially senior citizens, women and disabled. But it is unfortunate that Chennai Metro Water and Chennai Corporation have done the same but they do not accept Debit Cards or online payments as they do not have tie up with any nationalized banks and they accept only Credit Cards. If you prefer to pay through banks you should have minimum two bank accounts because each one has their own banks. Nowadays I am told Credit Cards are not given to senior citizens. The Debit Cards are also used as ATM cards. Hence it is safe and sure for the receiver and it is given to the Customers without any difficulty or discretion. Both Chennai Metro water and Chennai Corporation should add Debit cards also along with Credit cards and online payments in their website. There is lot of advertisements in the media to use online facilities (e-governance) but they are not brought into effect. It would serve better purpose if all State statutory payments are accepted by all nationalized banks so that payment could be made easy. Honourable Minister Sir may I request Your good Office to act immediately as it is the time CMWSSB is collecting tax and charges and it would be till end of Feb 2k9 Regards P N Veeraraghavan

Dear Sir, I feel, the time has come to get out of Congress Alliance and go ahead with BJP in forthcoming General Elections. Till last night I was not supporting LTTE because of Rajiv Gandhi assassination. But Congress is not bothering about Ezham Tamilians and running Central Govt. with our TamilNadu MP’s support. But now I feel we should withdraw the support or not join with Congress Alliance. I’m sure DMK will lose this general election, if we continue Congress Alliance. My worry is DMK should not lose the image and strength because of this Congress Alliance. I’m proud to be a DMK supporter since 1981 after attending Kalaignar’s Muthamil Vizha in our College at Erode. We are the one who initiated Tamil Ezham demands in those days. But now it’s time for us to think about our party’s position too. We did a general survey, in January 2009, in and around Tamil Nadu. People of Tamil Nadu have already started deviating from DMA Alliance. Please think and take a good decision. Dear Thazhapathy, I could not understand the agitational programme of DMK with Congress(I) demanding ceasefire in Sri Lanka and settlement of the Eelam Tamil Issue. Because, the Tamil Nadu State is governed by DMK with the support of Congress(I) and the the Indian Government is ruled not only by Congress(I) but also by DMK with the support of their alliances.This is just like an individual cheats not only himself but also others. If DMK and Congress(I) sincerely wants ceasefire in Sri Lanka and the peaceful settlement of Eelam Tamils Issue, it can be done within a minute. But it is done so. Instead of this, both the parties are playing a drama with a hidden agenda. The world Tamils in general and Eelam Tamils in particular are under the clutches of Aryans who never allows the Tamils to live independently with self-respect in an Independent State or Country. The Tamils are born to live as slave. To-day Eelam Tamis, to-morrow Malaysian Tamils and day-after-tomorrow Indian Tamils. Who is coming to save the Tamils?. Nobody is known now and nobody is available now in the world. The time will say who is he? The present situation of the Tamil Race in the world should not come to any race in the world. Request for Farm varsity in Madurai This is with reference to starting of farm universities in southern region of tamil Nadu. The main occupation of our state is agriculture. Right now we are having only one university for farming at Coimbatore.We are in need of Three or four farm varsites for our state. Each region must have one farm varsity. Then only we can solve the regional problems of of our farmers. The farm and rural problems are different to different regions. For examble, in south, the problems are low rainfall, risk and uncertainities. The problems in the Cauvery delta are flood,drainage,saline and alkaline soils. There is lot scope for commercial agriculture in the nortern region because of Closer to chennai.for these reasons, we need one farm university at Chennai region. The second farm varsity for Cauvery delta region. The third Farm universty for the Poor soutern region of Madurai Belt. we request Our Thalapaty to consider our need and announce in the new Budget. s.s.kumaran

Dear Sir, Recently the Tamil Nadu Commercial Tax department announced that the Tax payers must file the tax returns from April 09 only online. My suggestion is how to get more revenue from them to Government of Tamil Nadu. The Govt of India made online filing of company returns by obtaining digital signature from appropriate agency like Tata consultancy. For obtaining the Digital Signature they are collecting Rs. 1,500/-per signature.Why the Govt of Tamil Nadu not adopting the same system for tax return filing in Tamil Nadu ? My suggestion is... if the Govt. of Tamil Nadu implement the same system, it will get more revenue by collecting money by providing the digital signature system from tax payers through Govt. Agency. Moreover there are about 70 laks people are filing sales tax in Tamil Nadu... then image how will revenue will get the Government if the system will adopted.
