I have a concern - There are lot of private buses of colleges, offices etc being parked on road side during the night and early morning and creating a lot of problems blocking free flowing traffic. The corporation should levy heavy penalty on such private buses of rich colleges and companies who try to save money by adopting such easy selfish means. This route is very much important as it is regularly used by the students,workers,formers and other villagers. Mini buses are only the medium and because of damage roads,there is a great risk of some accidents. I have complained regarding this problem earlier also and from past 24 months No response is being taken. If you prefer have a visit of the site with your team and decide the steps to be taken. Honorable minister, I am Manager working in an MNC and would like to bring to your notice the traffic congestion that exist especially in the evening in the Stretch between Olympia Tech Park and Ekaduthangal. The Flyover constructed has greatly eased the traffic congestion in the Kathipara junction but this has resulted in congestion near the above mentioned area as the road there becomes very narrow and is unable take the volume of traffic coming down the Katipara flyover. The time taken to cross this stretch should not be more than 2 min but it nearly takes 15 min to reach Udayam signal. Thus this stretch requires your attention in terms of widening and removing any unauthorized encroachments thus helping us reap the benefits from the newly constructed Kathipara grade separator.
