Respected Sir, Kindly accept my HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS on your posting as Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. I would like to give suggestion to bring Tamil Nadu as one of the BEST State All Over the World for its BEST ADMINISTRATION. Suggestion: 1. The Voters list shall be supplied to the Police Stations. 2. Policemen visit each and every street OR conducted Single Meeting point to issue Police ID no. to the Family. (No. of Voter No. will be differ from Adults in the family but police ID no. is ONE for entire family. 3. This ID should be informed to the policemen when checked on any time. 4. Any guests, etc. for the family should inform the guests Police ID number no. (which is issued by the Other Police Station)to the local police station by filling RED Slip (Made Available in All police stations nearby the COLLECTION BOX). This is the system to monitor the public and serve the public. This system will ensure: a) No new person or unidentified person will stay in any place. b) even if they stay the nearby public will inform the same by way of putting the RED form in the box without their identity and without fear. c) It is convenience for the police department to identify any person within 12 hours, as their movements are reported. d) If any one not reporting their guests police id no. and who are turned to be the "wanted person" they will be included for such lapsed action and explanation can be received from them. This system will avoid public occupying Govt. and Other Private Lands unlawfully and the Government Resources will be safeguarded. As this is a one time process if our Govt. is intended to implement, TAMIL NADU will become a PILOT STATE IN INDIA and it is a MILESTONE in the ADMINISTRATION OF GOVT. OF TAMIL NADU. IT IS POSSIBLE WITH THE HELP OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. WHILE IMPLEMENTING THIS SYSTEM, ALL VIPs DETAILS ARE TO BE AVAILABLE WITH THE HIGHER CADRE OF POLICEMEN. THANK YOU SIR, FOR YOUR SYMPATHETIC HEARING.

I hail from Tiruvarur and my father studied in the same Board High School where our Hon Chief Minister studied till 1943. So I feel privileged to congratulate you on your assuming as Dy CM of TN. I request your kind intervention on a problem our family face in having a peaceful living. Next to our house there is an apartment comprising 12 flats. They operate a Bore well motor very close to the compound wall in the open air which is causing highly unbearable decibles of noise day and night even if we close all doors of our house. Our request to the owners to have a shelter to the motor to reduce the noise is not only listened for the past four years now but they challenge me to take any action if I can. I am physically handicapped with hearing impairment and this noise is worsening my hearing as I was medically advised by doctors to refrain from excessive noise. I am also afraid if my family members may also suffer from hearing loss due to this continous hearing of noise created by the motor. I have no other means than to resort to you. Sir, we will be ever grateful if you please order for control of this noise pollution through police personnel to mitigate our suffering.

Congratulations! Mr.Stallion for your support in DMK’s MP election winnings. I read an article about creating more jobs and pay some incentives to the investors. That is a good idea, which is already implemented in Singapore. You may approach Singapore government for more information. Please kindly make sure that these jobs go to Tamilians. There are lots of Malayalees and Telugu peoples working in Tamilnadu. I hope you will understand my request. Once gain, please make sure that all the jobs goes to Tamilians. Thanks Nagarajan P

Dear Raising Sun As a true Chennaite, I would like to bring to your notice on the menace create by Autos. I work for an IT company and to my surprise when interacetd with many of my Non Chennaites, the only comment that I receive from them are the exorbitant auto chanrges. They say they fear auto rates the most in this city. I am really feeling hurt whenever they comment such a way about our dear Singara Chennai. I am sure to bring this criticism to zero, only you have the rights and the power to do so. I am sure nobody else in power can bring this into normalcy. I requst you to kindly enforce certain strict rules and norms to bring the auto rates back to Meter based charging.

Auto Rickshaws causing Huge Noice and Air Pollution and causing great damage to public health. Please Take Action Immediately. Dear Sir, I am a person living in Chennai. Chennai is only the only city where the auto drivers are breaking all the rules and no action is being taken against them. The autorickshaws are charging very high fares and not charging according to the metre the transport department need to take immediate action against them. Auto Rickshaws are not following any pollution control norms and are causing extremely high air pollution which is very very harmful for chennai environment. The Main Reason : The Main reason for the huge air and noice pollution by the autorickshaws is their 2 Two Stroke Engines which has been banned in Two Whellers but still it is being used in AutoRickshaws in Chennai. The Pollution Control Department need to take immediate action against the autorickshaws in chennai. THEY CAUSE HUGE NOICE POLLUTION BY TAMPERING WITH THEIR SILENCERS AND CAUSE HUGE AIR POLLUTION THEY WERE ASKED TO CHANGE TO LPG BY THE GOVERNMENT BUT HARDLY EVEN ONE PERCENT HAS CHANGED THE INACTION BY THE TRAFFIC POLICE IS CAUSING HUGE INCONVENIECE TO THE CHENNAI PEOPLE. THIS IS A VERY VERY HONEST MAIL INTENETED IN THE INTEREST OF CHENNAI PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING BADLY BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY AIR POLLUTION BY AUTO RICKSHAWS IN CHENNAI. PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AND BAN THE AUTORICKSHAWS WHICH ARE CAUSING EXTREME HIGH AIR AND NOICE POLLUTION IN CHENNAI

At the outset, let me congratulate you for taking our Deputy CM and wishing you all the very best. Under your leadership I am sure you would take Tamil Nadu to greater heights as compared to other states in India. You was envisaged a vision "Singara Chennai" and definetely you are working toward it in spite of various bottlenecks. Tamil Nadu and particularly Chennai is most favoured destination for Industry & IT giant now. Places like OMR, Sriperumbudur has grown a lot in last couple of year. The IT / Commercial growth in OMR and surrounding areas like Velachery has been so very fast, it has created issue in Infrastructure. Since, you were a resident of Velachery earlier I am sure it should be close to you heart. I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some of problem faced at Velachery and also a some of the possible immediate solutions. The Vijayanagar Junction have turned out to be a severe Bottleneck for Traffic. I would say 90% of IT buses from City take Bye pass road, pass through Vijaynagar and take the Velachery - Tambaram road and then turn towards OMR near Kamakshi Hospital. Since there has been a phenomenal increase in the number of IT buses & general traffic from surrounding area in the last two year, It had resulted in severe traffic congesion during peak hours at Vijay Nagar Junction. Hence to overcome this, I have following suggestion. i) Widening of Vijaynagar to Tambaram road right from Naidu hall to Vijaynagar Bridge and I do understand there are some Legal issue and hence may take some more time. Hence, my immediate suggestion would be following, ii) Move Velachery Bus stand to Velachery Railway station. iii) Have a link Road running parallel to railway track from Velachery to Perugudi station, so that some of the traffic can be diverted on this road, in case if they are comming from Madippakkam and other area and want to go towards Adyar/Tidal. iv) Revamp/clean up the drainage system, the flood water drain are really choked and it really require immediate attention before Mansoon set in. v) Ensure Signal in Vijayanagar Bus stand in working (its not functioning in the last few months) and logically programed after studing the traffic flow pattern at various times in a day Thanks for your attention on the above points.

Dear Hon.Deputy Chief Minister, Congratulations on your achievement, a well deserved honour for the services you have rendered to the people and to the party. Under your able leadership and the new powers entrusted, we, the Tamils living outside India would like to see Tamil Nadu as the number 1 state in Tamil Nadu in terms of having corruption free governance, highest foreign investments, industrialization, human development and prosperity. With all the energy you have and the guidance of the Hon. Chief Minister, I request you to kindly make a trip to other countries to meet with the top CEOs of global companies and project Chennai/Madurai/Trichy/Coimbatore as the best destinations for their expansion. Tamil Nadu has a great potential to be the number 1 manufacturing hub, number 1 place to setup back-office centers, number 1 state to housing the best research centers. While agriculture is important, mere dependence on agriculture will not produce high wages and higher standard of living. We need to enhance our state's infrastructure, build faster networks, ensure uninterrupted power and water to most places and make the state very attractive to entice investments. Sir, I would like to hear from you and yearning to contribute to Tamil Nadu. Kindly, provide me an opportunity. Sincerely, Mani Desik

Sir, Congrats on your becoming our Deputy Chief Minister. Welcome to the throne. Now that you have in your grip the helm of affair, we with raised hopes and expectation suggest to look into the following on priority: continuous power supply with scheduled power cuts like it is done in Keala as there are no words to express our sufferings at home and at office with frequent power shut-down. 2. Paying all bills such as elecity bill, house tax, passport, telephone bills, water bills etc under one roof as is being collected in Bangalore (Bangalore One offices in many places/zones. 3.corruption free and friendly police as we dread to enter police station where we are humiliated like animals. 4.serious and vehement implementation of Rain water harvesitng unminding who initiated action first. please sir, look into these suggestions and make Tamilnadu once again as exemplary state in all aspects. with high regards and fervent hopes for good, chirtopher john

Honourable Deputy Chief Minister sir, I would like to bring to your kind attention that, there is a public nuisance created by the customers of the Tasmac Shop next to Universal Cell store in TTK Road, Alwarpet. In the evenings we can see huge customers of the shop standing in the pavement and also on part of the main road and consuming liquor publicly. They are littering used plastic cups and cigarette butts etc all over the place. This creates untold hardships to the public particularly the ladies. So please take necessary action either to close the shop or to shift it to a suitable place with bar accomodation. Thanking you Sadhakathullah

Respected Stalin Sir, Congrats and best wishes to u as Deputy CM. Sir, No where in the history we have heard of giving 1 kg rice at the rate of Re.1.This credit goes to Kalaignar o But the public distribution system, as I said is in a very bad state. nly. I would like to bring to your kind attention about the condition of Ration Shops in Chennai and as a whole in Tamil Nadu. They are in a very pathetic and also in a very unhygenic condition. First and foremost is to accomodate Ration shops in a decent premises and the items should be stored in a environment full of rodent proof and hygenic. In order to avoid distribution losses, at most care should be taken. Every ration shop should have enough staff to attend to this and distribution should be made in a systematic matter. Please look into this matter. I hope you will defintely do some thing. You are our only hope, and I have full faith in you. cbs

Honb'le Stalin,Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu, Congrats and My Best wishes.Your Knowledge,New Imagination,New Energy are going to activate the wheels of Government Machinery in Tamilnadu.I am looking for changes!Yes! Real changes in the Working system of Govt.It has to come from Knowledge and experience and from Experts.I am happy to note you will buy experience from Dr Kalaignar.Thats good. But our present day Governance demands more challenges and requires distilled knowledge and strategical decisions to administer the Country and people! You also need an EXPERTS Committee, composed of Professional Third party Subject Matter specialists in areas such as Agriculture,Finance,Industries mainly to offer advise on an un stinted basis not withstanding Governmental burecrates. The Think tank so assembled will provide you the valuable subject matter knowledge on areas where you require real substance to govern issues and growth areas in our Country.I can even assist you in assembling such a Think Tank who would provide the much wanted Genuine subject matter advise from time to time.It is a professional assignment and No party or even Government can provide that to capable Leaders like you.No political Will will provide that kind of knowledge and during situations of complicated decision making,it is always better to avoid facing such situation but to eradicate such occurence thru sheer knowledge! This is Obama's pattern of knowledge assembly and performance.I wish you all the best and EXPECT much from you sir! Local Administration

Please accept my congratulations on becoming Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Long waited and Well Deserved one. Hope you will continue to do your best for the economic development and uplift of the poor and middle class families. I still remember the good things you have done when you were the Mayor of Chennai Corporation. I am placing a suggestion for you to think through for implementation. I was in Chennai recently. As usual the auto drivers were claiming arbitray charges without fixing metres or on highly charged metres or demanding over and above the metre charges. This normally upsets even persons like me who were born and got educated in chennai. But the strange thing is by charging in one of the three methods described above the auto drivers have not become rich either. They continue to reel under poverty. The urgent needs for money to their family maintenance forces them to continually resort to these methods. Is there any solution to this? One suggestion came to my mind and is as under: In Tamil Nadu, the reasons for the arbitrary charge may be attributed to (i) the daily rentals charged by the owners of autos are not uniform (ii) the autos are not in primary condition (iii)certain drivers run without proper licences (iv) the law enforcing authorities turn a blind eye to what is happening and when they choose to act punish on the high side or take personal benefits. This forces the drivers to make up for the lost money! We do not try to educate the drivers or impose things like counselling, withdrawing the licence for a week, banning the driver from driving for a period of one year if excesses are found on more than three occasions, quality of auto driven not tested, etc. In Singapore the Taxis are owned by government/ two or three MNCs and have transparent rules and regulations for drivers and public to follow. My suggestions are as under: 1. Invite Tenders from MNCs to take over existing autos/start new auto companies with big capacities. 2. Let the MNCs charge reasonable metre rates, purely on commercial basis (Should not resort to exorbitant charges and no need to subsidise also) 3. Let the drivers be regulated by licence with strict quality standards. 4. Let the quality standards for autos be defined and tested annually. 5. Let the drivers be asked to pay not more than one fifth/third of his collection charges. 6. Let the families of drivers be covered by insurance, medical benefits and other welfare measures by the MNCs by contributing ten percent of their annual profits. 7. Let complaint policy be defined to be taken care of by the owners viz. the MNCs. (will be better than a complaint to law enforcers) Thank you. Sincerely Viswanathan

I am SK SENTHIVEL (Ex. DMK DINDIGUL MC (1986-1991))and presently in Singapore (Mobile: 006598066331). It is really very very happy news that you are elected as Deputy Chief Minister for Tamil Nadu. On the day you sign-in as Deputy CM, Let your first signature bring the lights to the poor family by signing this "Deepa Oli Scheme". As you aware, during every Deepavali season, every poor family is bledging their goods / "Thaali" in pawn shops and most of them are borrwoing money for high interest rate from these pawn brokers. To avoid these poor family suffering from these, being a government you can fund Rs. 2,000 and offer a provisions pack (inclusive of 3Kg rice + 2Kg Idli rice+1 Litre gingelli Oil +1 Litre Palm Oil+ 1 Kg Sugar+ 1Kg mung dhal + 1Kg Udar Dhal +1 Kg Rava) for every poor family who is having their ration card. This can be continued for every year's Deepavali Festival. This scheme will REALLY lighten up to those poor family for REAL DEEPAVALI under your name. the state corporation buses in long distance routes both setc and regional run for long distances. the roads due to the efforts of upa government improved. people who travel long distances prefer to reach quickly. even while collecting fares for express, pp they in the name of fuel economy take the time which is much more than what it was 10 years ago by then thiruvalluvar in poor road conditions. therefore, if the buses are not ordinary and charge pp fare or if from setc the drivers should not be bound by the fuel economy since we pay extra for the setc and pp services.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ASSUMING CHARGE AS DEPUTY C.M. OF TAMILNADU. AT THIS POINT OF TIME I WOULD SUGGEST TO GIVE A GIFT TO GOVERNMENT SERVENTS WHO ARE AT THE VERGE OF RETIREMENT AND INCIDENTALLY WHO HAVE BORN AT THE SAME YEAR OF YOUR BIRTH. THE AGE OF RETIRMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVANTS IN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, PUBLIC SECTORS AND BANK ARE AT PRESENT 60 YEARS. WHEN THE PAY COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION IS IMPLEMENTED WHICH IS EXPECTED SOON THE EXTENSION OF AGE OF RETIRMENT TO 60 YEARS FOR TAMILNADU GOVERNMENT SERVENTS WILL BE A SURPRISE GIFT TO THE EVER LOYAL GOVERNMENT SERVANT TO THIS GOVERNMENT IN PARTICULAR. EVEN IN THE ECONOMY POINT OF VIEW QUITE A LARGE NUMBER OF GOVERNMENT SERVANTS(in thouands) ARE DUE TO RETIRE FROM NOW ON TILL 2011 WHERE THE GOVERNMENT WILL HAVE THE BURDEN OF SETTLING THEIR RETIREMENT BENEFIT WHICH MAY RANGE FROM 8 LAKHS TO 15 LAKHS TO EACH PERSONS AND THERE WILL BE HEAVY OUTFLOW OF FUNDS FROM THE GOVERNMENT ESPECIALLY AT A TIME WHEN A HUGE PAY COMMISSION ARREARS IS TO BE DISBURSED. BY EXTENDING THE AGE OF RETIREMENT THE PRESENT FLOW OF WORK IN GOVERNMENT WILL CONTINUE TO RUN SMOOTHLY, THE POSTPONEMENT OF DISBURSAL OF RETIREMENT BENEFIT DUE TO ENHANCEMENT OF AGE OF RETIRMENT WILL SPARE THE GOVERNMENT FROM DIVULGING A HUGE FUNDS FOR THE PRESENT WHICH CAN BE BETTER UTILISED FOR WELFARE MEASURES OF THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT. THUS POSTPONING THE RETIREMENT FOR JUST A WHILE THE GOVERNMENT IS BENEFITTED TO A LARGER EXTENT FINANCIALLY. I FERVENTLY BELIEVE THAT THE HON'BLE DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER WILL KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS WITH POSITIVE APPROACH AND ANNOUNCE A GOOD NEW ON THE ENSUING BIRTH DAY OF OUR HONOURABLE CHIEF MINISTER .

The same is the case in RTO office. We are charged heavily on the road if we dont have license. At the same time we are charged heavily (bribe) when we go to take our license in RTO office. Hoping to see a new Tamil Nadu thru You.. All the best.
